Five Nights at Freddy's 2 jumpscares - REMADE

- Hello again :) Took a well-deserved sabbatical from SFM, but now I have returned.
I finally decided to revive this old SFM session that had been shelved due to low confidence. Having collected dust for months, it's out now: All ten jumpscares from Five Nights at Freddy's 2, completely redone in Source Filmmaker!
The only official game footage present in this video is the static after each jumpscare, the title screen and the "Game Over" screen. Everything else you see was animated by me, and the audio was assembled in SFM using the individual sound files.
Dang, the FNAF 2 jumpscares were so time-consuming to make!! All the cameras, sounds, lights... extremely complicated stuff. They are definitely the hardest to recreate of all the games. It didn't help that the session was fraught with frequent crashing. I plan to remake the jumpscares for FNAF and 3 and 4 as well; they should be drastically easier. It won't be for a while, however.

THIS SCARED ME SO BAD THX FOR MAKING THE VID I LOVED IT
There are some things I need to explain about this animation:
1: I spent HOURS UPON HOURS posing the animatronic models in each camera feed, way back in September 2015 when I began the animation. This was _before_ the new models came out. When the new models arrived, I didn't want to undo loads of hard work and pose the new ones, so I kept the old ones, even though they're less accurate. (And I prefer the old models anyway). Please do not criticize me for this.
2: In the game, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Toy Freddy stand behind the desk when they enter the office. However, in SFM they appear too far away from the viewer's vision, and Toy Freddy was obscured by the monitor panel which I couldn't get rid of, so I made them stand in front of the desk. This is intentional, not a mistake.
3: I included a hallucination in this video. Can you spot it?

All of these are fantastic! Incredibly well animated and smooth :) I think that Foxy and
Toy Freddy were my favourite jumps, though Foxy's one STILL got me xD All the rest of the
jumpscares don't bother me now, but his always catches me :)
That damned monitor panel though...though if I'm correct, there may be a FNaF2 remake
map coming soon...? Don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's true :)
I did notice in Goldie's jump that when the camera moves onto him and he begins to fade,
half of him disappears! I'm assuming that's a transparency issue ^^
Spotted the hallucination! I wondered if you might have gone for JayJay or the Endoskeleton,
but that's still a valid one ^^ One that often gets forgotten, actually!

It's no secret that I worked very hard on this, so I'm glad you like it :) There is a bit of room for improvement, however. Withered Freddy is too dark when in the office, Toy Chica and Withered Bonnie's scares come and go too quickly, and the Puppet's scare is a bit slow. Apart from that, I'm pleased with it! Foxy's jumpscare is my personal favourite; I copied each frame near-perfectly and it came out brilliantly. That jumpscare surprises me often because it tends to be more spontaneous.
I had to put Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Toy Freddy in front of the desk because of that stupid panel. Also, Foxy and the Puppet clipped right through it. It REALLY got in the way. If there's a new FNAF 2 map, I'll check it out.
Yeah, that's a problem with the cloaking rig on models. If the background is pitch-black, they'll disappear instantly. Because half of Golden Freddy's body is covering the blackness of the hallway, it happened to him. No way around it sadly...
I did the Paper Plate hallucination because it was the easiest. I couldn't have JJ since you can't see very far below the desk, and as for the Endoskeleton, I'd gotten tired of posing models by that time xD Same reason why I didn't do the Shadow animatronics.
Thanks for commenting :D Was it worth the time? It might have been... but as you can see, it's only gotten 2K views in two days. Very disheartening :( I guess my four month absence has caused me to fall out of the public eye :(

Ah, I see! Makes sense to me, then :) I'd forgotten about RXQFSFASXC and Shadow Freddy...with the more realistic lighting, RXQFSFASXC would have blended in too much and Shadow Freddy was yet another model xD
