Do you mean: Gemini 7&6a
Thanks for making this. Much appreciated. I'm halfway thru this part as i watch a little bit every night.
Thanks for watching the whole thing thats good to know. I hope you find plenty you knew but also plenty you didn't or hadn't seen before. Regards LM5
Fantastic, Incredible, Amazing! LM5 has done it again!!!
Lol thanks KC2MFCs...hope you enjoy it
I am thankful that I was born early enough to have the entirety of the space age to this point in living memory. Although, realistically that just means I'm old. LM5 is an inspiration and his videos are a wonder to watch. So much in the archival video that we didn't see, at the time or since, before he published them. Especially true for the Soviet efforts, which we in the USA heard almost nothing about in real time, due to the cold war.
You must have some awesome memories! Thank you for your kind words - appreciated and glad you liked the Soviet content, which, I often think, is overlooked - regards LM5
Yay I'm the first to watch this also great video this must've took a lot of time to make
Started in January....hope you enjoy it
This is absolutely incredible. The amount of work this must have taken to put together is mind boggling. And this is only part 1. WOW!!! Thank you for this. Just amazing.
Thanks MM that's really appreciated 👍
Historical moments to be remembered! Thank you!
You are welcome Chris, hope you enjoy it
This is going to be good :)
Hope it lives up to expectations
@@lunarmodule5 22 minutes in, it's great man!
@@book3100 that's good to know!!! Makes the effort worthwhile
@@lunarmodule5 I'll have to make a timestamp index. Make it easier for other people to spot their favorites.
@@book3100 it's in the description of the video
Masterpice .... Thank you Simon ! ❤🖖
Wow! Those are very kind words 😊 thank you
You keep getting better and better! Thank You LM5!
Thanks 👍
Another triumph! You really take me on a trip down memory lane using the broadcast recordings of Walter Conkrite (for whatever reason we always had the CBS feed on the TV for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions during my youth). Of course, we didn't know about certain facts in those heady days of the Space Race (like Apollo 10's "floaters" or the trouble Scott Carpenter got into regarding RCS fuel usage), but your effort here demonstrates the wide sweep of human space endeavors (at least in the WHITE world: who knows for sure about the Black Budget World?) and we who are lifelong space geeks can't fully express our appreciation. Thank You times a thousand!
Really appreciate your support and comments. It's good to know that space enthusiasts around the world get a kick out of this stuff
Excellent editing, graphics and presentation. Looking forward to part two.
Much appreciated!
Great stuff. Silly YT didn't announce this for me.
Glad I watched it. All amazing stuff. Thanks 😉
Simon delivered again! Thanks so much!
Thanks as always for your support and kind words
Marvellous - my faves - Telstar ( was so exciting, to think what we accept as completely nornal now and how it came about ) and Farewell Aquarius
Superb work!
Thank you
I am so excited. Thanks LM5! Oustanding!
Thanks purple, hope it met expectations
I've never seen the Telstar stuff. Absolutely fascinating, what a strange and wonderful time that must have been.
The whole broadcast is on YT
A great trip through space history 🙂
Thanks Pat...another part to come 😁
That was just brilliant.. Looking forward to next part..
Thank you
You never seem to amaze me! A 100 thanks!
You are more than welcome
@@lunarmodule5 Very curious about #1. Gagarin or Young & Crippen? 🤔😁
Now that would be tellin!
HELL YEAH I'M WATCHING THIS WHOLE THING.
Okay bed time. Thanks for video.
Awesome 👍 let me know what you think of it
Thank you LM5!
You are more than welcome
Love it! Thank you!
Sts-3 landing: First time (and only time) auto-land was used. Also, this landing was done at a backup site (white sands) because weather at Edwards was bad. The combination of auto-land and divert field was one of the many layers of the swiss cheese that lined up that resulted in the wheelie.
And those words I used on the caption....courtesy of Jack himself in correspondence with me 👍
Many, many achievements made by man in a short period. Look how far we've come since the Wright Brothers. A short, brief flight off the sands of an ocean beach in North Carolina to the moon and stars!
LM5, you are the best!
Thanks for the comment John, indeed we have come a long way
More amazing work by you!! You never disappoint!
Thanks Johnboy .. appreciate your support and words thanks
The homework can wait. I got my priorities straight
Now don't blame me if your grades aren't what you were expecting lol
@@lunarmodule5 haha, in all seriousness thank you for the amazing content you bring, the footage is spectacular and a true treasure to the community. Thank you!
@@mortallychallenged I really appreciate your support and words thanks
Excellent!
Thanks hope you enjoy it
amazing hard work you performed to do this. Just picking out the top 100 was a job in itself
Thanks @mckeevertom 👍 it was fun ...each one took about an hour to put together
Perfect!
Really cool LM5!
Thanks!
Oooh... This is going to be good!
Hope it was!
Excellent job
Thank you!
Ooh! Nice! CZcams notifications appear to be a little messed up so am late to this one. I tend to rely on Patreon posts to remind me something new is uploaded :)
Did I not post it there?
GOAT!👍
A masterpiece!
Thank you!!
Awesome!
awesome content
Thank you
A moving tribute to fallen friends of space (1:01:34). Sadly not the first, and tragically not the last.
Thanks for the comment...the two shuttle and Apollo tragedies are in the next part, equally important to convey the respect and sensitivity
Too bad all the original network TV and radio broadcasts of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, along with coverage of significant unmanned missions, have now been discovered and posted. Those are absolutely fascinating windows into how we saw mid-century history in the making.
Really enjoying this video,
Can someone tell me though what I'm looking at jumping into the view here 1:30:22
Is this some kind of lens flare? a water droplet? or a ufo?
Looks like a droplet of water on the shuttles window..video taken from inside the cabin
If number one isn’t the floating Apollo mystery turd, I will be severely disappointed
You obviously haven't watched this one all the way through.....
...81...
@@lunarmodule5 yeah i commented and then like 3 minutes later there it was 😂
@@lunarmodule5 its the ultimate moment in spaceflight, there probably won’t ever be another mystery floating turd
@@The_dislike_guy 😂
55:50 🙈🙉🙊 (!!!).
3:18:58 Since when does Rob Navias commentate non-ISS missions?
