It was a highlight of my week to see you back. Your new look becomes you and as usual your insights into books and movies are second to none. Also congratulations on your career. It is clear how much you love what you do. Thank you, thank you for 23 minutes of joy.
Great to see an update from you, happy the shoulder's on the up and up! You're the first person I've seen to compare Boy's Life to Steven Spielberg, that sounds great. Your description of it also gives me some Bradbury vibes. I think this is the the second or third update I've seen where you're continuing to enjoy Horowitz - he wasn't an author I'd really looked at before, but now I think I have to try him. Inserting himself into the story reminds me of what Clive Cussler does in those Dirk Pitt novels of his, though he sticks to a super-timely/borderline-deus-ex cameo. The Will of the Many is in my running for book of the year, looking forward to your thoughts on it whenever you post your next update!
I am reading A Darker Domain by Val McDermid, the second in the series and I have not read the first one, not necessary. I got this book in a little free library. It is fantastic, I am hooked and will read the whole series. Highly recommend and start with this one! Thanks for your video.
I’ve been wanting to read Mariana for ages!! My sister gifted me that one and Mariana by Susanna Kearsley a few Christmases ago. Every year I tell myself I’m finally going to read them because I want to do a video with them. Because they’re both titled with my name. Because a veces soy así de ñoña 😂🤷♀️
me cuentas cuando termines The Will of the Many. ¡Saludos!
Gotta agree on the new Quiet Place movie. I was entertained and liked the jump scares, but it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. And I didn’t get the focus on the cat. There was a point where I wondered if the cat knew more about what’s going on with the monsters because of how the camera follows it.
So glad to see you back!
Wish you the best recovery for your shoulder, take care of yourself 🤗
I hope your recovery from surgery goes well! I’m currently reading Stepford Wives… Glad you had time to post! 😊
Smart! Can sing and speak Spanish!!! Wow!!! You got it all 👏🏻👏🏻🎉
Thanks for the video! I've just added "Mariana" to my purchases 😀

I really want to read Mariana! It’s just sitting patiently waiting for me on my shelf.
I hope your shoulder recovery continues to go well. Jaws the book is very good should you wish a fresh encounter!

Happy you never sacrifice the psychoanalysis for booktube, I'm sure your patients are grateful
