SOLD This handsome double bass was inspired by perhaps the greatest of all double bass makers, Gasparo da Salò. An original Gasparo would have been made around 1580 and would cost a small fortune in today's money. This instrument by contrast was made around 10 years ago but looks and sounds fantastic. If you want to have the look of an old master double bass at a fraction of the cost then this is the perfect instrument for you.
