I Like the rear taillights. They're a throwback to the 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo I had, same shape. My favorite year for the Monte Carlo is the 1977 Monte Carlo. I Love the 1977 Monter Carlo used in the Original 1978 Movie HALLOWEEN. That was a beauty.

Looks real enough. I had a '83 SS. The black trim, the bench seat with SS embroidered in headrest, original column shift(moved to floor) etc... is how they came from the factory.
Not a real ss if it is doors were replaced true ss the mirrors were foward a little more

I still rather my exhaust system exit the back of the car, but otherwise nice ride just needs a little work. The motor gm should have put in those g Bodies. Just not the gn/gnx lol

My 84 had a column shifter. Blue and white bench seat too.
@@adamdozier5757 1984 must have been the final year for that, then. Why did they start off with column shifters? The Grand Nationals never had them, nor the '83/'84 Hurst or the 442's.

This is anLS model converted to SS you can tell from a few things in the video 1st is the seats SS has buckets this has the LS bench 2nd is the column has the column shifter SS are floor shift 3rd is the 350 SS has 305 LS can have the 305 too but are mostly v6

Great car . Can't believe someone took out ac .. upgraded motor can handle it and still have plenty of power. Could even do stroker 383 and still be great car. Sounds great with cherry bombs underneath... id still have it coming out back though.
I never understood why anyone would remove air conditioning? It's a minor power loss.
Auto auction rebuilds put a 383 stroker in his SS.. should check it out. Might be going up 4-Sale soon!! He has a Dealers license so maybe maple motors would be interested.
You have to take it to Daytona and see if you can break that 200mph barrier. Make sure to knock that spoiler down
To day I see a Monte SS for 16,9 K and i s very do able to take away some of the hick ups, for she is nice for a 83 for she did not come with a 350 ci, for it probably came with a 305, but that's OK with me, for she is worth money honey and that 350 ci will not disappoint and the price is right for sure.

Had new one in 1985, 305 was a joke. No power, soft cam lobes. Iroc had the right motor for this car. Big car needs power, just didnt have it.

They found even some stupider place to put the tack. Instead of the steering wheel didn’t know was possible. Nice car, though they should get slapped for drilling holes in the dash though

I have an 88 Monte Carlo SS that is absolutely flawless with a built 350 , 700r4 transmission with a shift kit and full time posi. My car is perfect 😂❤❤.. I always ❤ this color on these. Mine is silver metallic with with black stripes
