Freestanding Faucet (Bathtub) Heat Adjustment

Adjust temperature of a Freestanding bathtub faucet.

Forgot to mention: Turn off the water to your house and open the faucet to drain the water in the lines, before starting this repair!

I have the same problem. We opened it but there is no red or blue notch inside. It’s all one piece. There is only the brass part.

So did this work? You never said, you just said if it's too hot I will turn it back again curious if it got colder or hotter with the adjustment you made? The initial close up picture looked like the valve was maxed out? Thanks

Man ive had lukewarm to cold water for months and thought it was bc the faucet handle was too close too the wall so it cudnt turn enough to hot lol .
