Picked up mine last night, can't beat it for price. I have a honey locust tree that drops 10" long bean pods every fall. I'm hoping it makes the job of picking those up a lot better than raking.

It sure worked a lot better once I took those curved arms the bag hinges on and flipped them around so they point up instead of back. Took me a while to figure out why the bag was lower than the sweeper unit. At first I thought I was missing an adjustment or something. Works great now. Collected a big pile of thatch. Still need to figure out what to do with the dump rope though.

I have the same sweeper and dethatcher. I use them now a little here and there but switched up to a front mount dethacther and a bagger system for my zeroturn. No where fair to compare each setup but I agree for the $ the yardworks set up is a great buy. I'm on my way to Menards soon to pick up a new ladder.

I see in the video the rear of the hopper is just about touching the lawn while you are pulling it. Make sure the hitch is adjusted right (level) I'm thinking of making some nylon skids under the hopper to keep it from rubbing on the ground on uneven ground.

Appreciate the video but wish the assembling portion of the video would be slower and have a little of an explanation even though we have the instructions. 😳 Looks like it was easy for you to put together. 🤗 The assembly was the most important part of the video. 😒 Tried slowing the speed but it was way too fast to begin with. 😳 We did manage to assemble it. 🤗 The yard sweeper certainly works real good in the video. 🤗 We agree it will be so helpful in Fall with all of our leaves in the yard! 😊 You got a great deal, we paid about $50 more even with the 11% off at Menards, guess we should have bought it sooner or when it was on sale. 😕 Of course I "liked" your video. 👍Thanks for sharing your experience with the yard sweeper and maybe consider "Senior" or slow speed in the future for assembling. 🙏 You have a very beautiful yard. ☺🌲☺

The only thing i dont like is thet the wheels are interlocked thru gears and axle so when u make a tight radius turn the outer wheel skids.
One more thing...u need tobe careful with speed...going to fast will strip the plastic wheel gears.
Personally, if i could return the product, i would and purchase a powered sweeper or lawn vacuum.

I wish there was a good way to mount the rope to the tractor. When jumping on the tractor after dumping clippings, sometimes I forget the rope and it jams up in the brushes. My mistake the rope is useless if I have to get off the tractor to dump it each time.
