Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update Review!

Just installed the new official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update via OTA on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920C UAE variant). We have a lot of significant changes. All of the Marshmallow features such as Google Now on Tap and granular app permissions are here and more! To check for the update, head into Settings,System update, and Check for update there.

I got my Sprint Note 5 update 3 days ago and it totally feels like a new phone. The animations work well and I believe multitasking is loads better. It also has the smart manager that frees up storage space and ram, which my phone didn't have on lollipop.

question.i got marshmallow ready to install on note 5.before i install do you ppl have any issues with new android os on note 5? last time i had note 3 replaced kitkat upgraded to lollipop.cause so much problems on my not3 3.so now i got note 5.not trying to make that same mistake and ended up replacing the phone.

after the update some of the note 5 features are gone. the vibration settings and the default notification tone. now my message tone and notification for youtube and games have a same ringtone.

the swipe effect has no options and now you cant change the bubbles in the messaging app. why they get rid of that?

+Jeremy E Yes, same here. I updated yesterday and noticed the ripple effect is gone when swiping on lock screen and that there is no bubbles options anymore for messaging. You can change background, but not the bubbles. Which is bad, because you can't match the colour of the two.

I using the Android N preview on the Nexus 6. lol. Samsung is super late. I heard some users on Nexus devices dont even have the March patch. smh. I have it and Im on a beta. lol. sad.
