Does the water proofing works if one changes the back cover......?i have lg v40 but i want to change the back cover and order from Ali express but i dont know whether the water proofing will stay or noy.....
Water is not gonna leak from the fingerprint. After removing the back cover and scrubbing off the old glue you have to apply a aftermarket one so I wouldn't count on waterproofing anymore. Funny story - I spilled a glass of orange juice onto one of my non-IP certified phones and literally used my mouth to suck the juice out of the speaker grill and around the screen and 1 year later it still works like new so you never know.
Why NOBODY has video how to replace front class (Lg G7Thinq) ?
It's the same with all modern phones. Buy digitizer with lcd and replace.
