- I had issues with my C3 connecting to my car, I realized the laptop settings were incorrect. Once I changed the COM port settings I was now able to connect with the car.

Whats the rs232 box, i'm connecting directly to my dell serial port, is this interface needed, is the c3 mux not an rs232. Could the MUX be RS485 and it need converting to rs232 please? Wheres the credit link to the other video you mention please?

I have C4 Multiplexor Unit, what configuration should it be on the port setting?

this still didn't work for me. i plugged everything in in the proper sequence, the cable connection and multiplexer were connected perfectly, then when I open the DAS for some reason the connection cuts off and goes back to the wireless symbol. anyone know how I can fix this? this chinese dude has messages turned off on dhgate
Why wouldn't you link the video?? I would need that too because I'm using a serial to usb. This is sketchy, you promising to link the video then some how avoiding to give it away

My issue is connecting to my w202's ECU.
After trying to connect I get the following message;
PMS does not answer
Possible cause:
-Diagnosis cable
-Control module:
voltage supply, not installed, faulty.
What could be the fix for this issue?
I also tried it on HFM w202 ecu and still the same problem.
The star diagnostic multiplexer and D630 are from aliexpress.

Yea absolutely. It reads mercedes specific codes.

Hey. What Laptop are you using? I have a Dell, but having problems with the connection.
I've used d620s d630s. Connection problems may be also due to software issues as well as mux problems

I just got my c3 multiplexer and laptop with das.
I connected everything and the laptop sees the c3 mux in the sdnetcontrol as accessible. Although when i try to run das software it will not connect. I ran the ceasar diagnosis and and no equipment is accessible. What do u think i need to do? Also i got a cheap ebay usb to rs232 adapter and when i connect to laptop im getting an issue that the windows xp says the usb is not working properly due to missing driver
I also dont see any com ports under the hardware menu for windows
I have the same problem like yours, C3 is connected and accessible, but I cannot run DAS, its giving me connection error, iam no clue what's wrong
Don't use a USB to serial adapter, they won't work. You need a laptop with a dedicated serial port. Have you figured out the problem yet?

I ended up selling that laptop.
Im going to retry with a straight connection to a computer built just for das.
