- This is my first ever project on RCT3, and I present to you Big Thunder Mountain Railroad from Walt Disney Worlds' Magic Kingdom. I know not everything is exactly like the real ride, but please bare in mind that I've never done anything like this before.

Probably the best recreation I have ever seen!
You even got the goat that yells "heeeelp! heeeeelp!" before the second downward plunge. I enjoyed this.

WTG... I have annual passes to WDW and this is one of my favorite rides at the MK. Well Done. PS I am learning how to RCT3 Too!!!

Not sure if you're still even active on CZcams, but I thought I would post nonetheless. This is the single BEST RCT3 remake of BTMR. Seriously, fantastic attention to detail. Either you live in Florida and go to Disney frequently or you have photographic memory. Either way, awesome job!

Best recreation ive seen. Minor Mistake. Top of first lift hill, the water is coming out above you, not spewing down beside you. I work at Magic Kingdom.

WOW!! I was just on it 3 days ago it is extremely accurate. since riding it 3 days ago I was inspired to do this on RCT3 but then I saw your video and I don't think I could do it any better. This is the best recreation I have found. great job being your first one looking forward to seeing more.

@RoJet116 Thank you. I never made a daytime video because the lighting was everything in this project. Without it and making a daytime video it would've just looked like rock...rock...rock...rock...rock...tree....rock...rock...cactus....rock...rock....rock
How did u get ur waterfall on the first lift because I can't seem to get it to work. Did u use cs??
This isn't like my memory of the ride when I was a kid; regardless, very well done.

No it's just the file name after I ran it through a video editing software...it is mine, no one else. Thanks for the comment!

@gators146 Yea, I know....., it's one of the many area's I had a tough time trying to recreate with RCT3..... Thanks for pointing it out though, it humbles me to know I did a good enough job that actual Disney employee's are watching this to draw comparisons to the real version. Thanks for the comment!

Honestly I couldn't tell you. It's been so long that I don't remember the exact place's or files, but I do know a lot of the scenery came from vodhin, so visiting there would probably be the best place to start looking.

Simple answer, yes, a lot of custom scenery... back in the day when their was a deluge of stuff to download. Nowadays though...good luck finding a trust worthy sight that you can still download stuff like that from

Lol before they went in line I thought the peep was just gonna stare at the sign, then turn away. That's what they do in my park... Probably cause the rides all have super intense nausea ratings...
@DJKaotik1 where did you get the lamps in the station ?
Do you have a download for this? Like the entirety with track and layout? I've been trying to recreate it and utterly failing.
Just out of curiosity, what's the excitement, intensity, and nausea ratings of this coaster? I would guess high, very high, medium.
@eaaliprantis 3 months of work went into this version. If I decided to do it again then maybe 2 months, but I have no desire to recreate it again.

There is a code for it...you basically click on a "peep" or person, and rename them with the cheat code, and there ya go.
A quick google search for RCT3 cheat codes should give you what your looking for
It sucks you can't make it go faster though. Try "David Braben" and you get unlimited chain lift speeds and launch speeds..then you'd make it go as fast as the actual ride. imo. Other than that, freaking awesome job(:
Where do you get the rock cs you use in the video?
please tell us where to download the custom scenery rocks and packs danny? i've been looking all over the internet for thunder mountain stuff and it has almost all the sites have been destroyed.
@eaaliprantis I Would if I could. Unfortunately a virus crashed my computer and I wasn't able to back-up the file. This video is all I have left of the project.

WOW! This is SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!! You're a really good rct3 player! I wanted to make it too but the file is deleted :(. What do you think of my video's? I really want that someone who's REALLY GOOOD at rct3 (like you) can tell me what I can do better and what they think of it.
Could you email me the CTR file and the map that has this entirety of it? I am a huge fan of RCT3 and Walt Disney World especially Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This is really really accurate and it is better than I could have imagined. I looked at others and I always come back to this one being the most accurate out of all of them. Do you think i could have the entire file of all of it? I want to add it to my park and have a park that has this?
