#1 to increase turning radius cut the lil stop bumps off the rudder I used a razor 🔪 knife I did both my Ft012 and Ft011 now they turn wicked sharp!!! #2 To stop the Ft011 bow from bouncing ( porpoising ) or acting like flipper...😂 bend the metal trim tab's down 1\8th inch at a time till it stops doing like da flipper 😀..and it's a lot easier to control at top speed!!!😎😎(adding any weight to these boats unless it's a stronger 🔋 battery "will slow the boats down"!!! ) Add a bigger prop and upgrade the battery and they run 50+ !!!!!! I have the FT009 & Ft012. The Ft012 needs much more space to turn than the FT009. It looks like the FT011 needs even more room than the FT012 to turn. What is your opinion?

With a surface drive like this it is difficult to trim them to go straight as the faster it turns the propeller the more it wants to turn. You only get to go straight at a certain speed. Going above or below that speed will cause it to go one way or the other. Setting the rim at a set speed of your choice is possible, but any other speed will have it turning. I have a similar boat design. If it had 2 propellers with opposite, but equal pitch of the same size, side by side, turning in opposite directions at the same rpm using a rudder to steer, then you could go straight at any speed. czcams.com/video/XtA28Uzey-8/video.html
salut je viens d acheté le ft011 le moteur est un 2400 kv pour moi pas il est pas assez puissant par contre le bateau est magnifique je recommande a tous. Je vais mettre un moteur plus puissant je vous tient au jus quand il sera fait a bientôt

+Sam McWethy It's a good choice too but be aware to grease regulary the coupler zone. The ESC also is warming so wait 5-10min between each runs.
