daveheel the choreography was very solid. paula herself was a trained dancer. that is why she looked flawless here. she had the technique and deliver the emotions correctly. and the choreo.really really paid attention to the spacial dimention. and the most important was the camera let the artist perform. it u see nowadays stage performance.like this, they tend to take picture with more sophisticated technique. it is meant to produce great picture in the screen, but mostly it fails. simplicity is always best because the artist has looked fabulous already.

You should see some of BTS' iconic performances (like their performance of ON at the Grand Central Station, or DIONYSUS 2019 MMA, BUTTER at the Grammy Awards, and finally, IDOL at Melon Music Awards 2018 which took stage performance to an entirely new level (just watch the intro alone...it's marvelous).
I love the frenetic, super upbeat remix they used for this performance. I’ve never been able to find this exact version of the song (other than this performance).
I see where Jennifer Lopez gets it. A mimed performance with INSANELY GOOD choreography, dancers, production value, etc. That's so much to remember. Paula was great!!
Old school Paula COOKS these young artists today. The "choreography" featured in most music vids these days is just spastic twitching and demonic jerking. Real dance has seemingly gone extinct in pop music.

Its very difficult to sing live while putting so much energy into a complex dance number. Even the best musicians struggle with it.

It was medical. She was in a plane crash during her last tour. She is genius.
