Presenting the ultimate single line pure diesel journey with the mystic mountains of 06702 Bodinayakkanur - Madurai Junction Unreserved Express train much awaited short distance ride behind a single headed SR based ALCo in SHF Mode, ex. ERODE Shed, now PONMALAI [GOC] WDG 3A #13536 😍 And indeed, a memorable trip to the 'Cardamom City' i.e., Bodinayakkanur (Tamil Nadu State - SR Madurai Division). It was glad meeting a new railfan from Bodi itself, Mr. Saravanan and his friend :)

The WDG accelerates faster than WDM. Is it because it's geared for higher torque (because it's designed for hauling heavy freight)? Or is it that the number of coaches in the train are less, hence the faster acceleration? Curiously!
