When I was just 20 years old back in the early 1980s I drove a wheat 🌾 harvester/combine way out in the middle of nowhere on the far east end of Santa Maria Valley, California and I got BUZZED by small fighter jets from Vandenburg Airforce Base a couple times!😅
Have you considered getting a drone for local air searches? You might find number 4 not far away. You might also consider buying some camo netting for your SUV if you feel the need not to be so visible. I wonder if those low flying jets are out of China Lake. Great video.
You aren’t allowed to fly drones in National Parks or wilderness areas, so that limits usefulness for WH. That’s one of the reasons why she rarely uses hers.
Hi Sarah from Atlantic Canada 🇨🇦. Love following your journeys in the American southwest. Back in my day I poked around various hidden places in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick lol. 😊 Have a Great Day.
People who tell you not to mention places are stingy. If you ask me? If they don't hold a deed for the place, they just need to keep their trap shut and stop bullying, Wonderhussy.
19:57 Note to self, Wonderhussy, bring a big ziplock bag, plus a sticker, just in case you need them. I know you don’t want to leave an identifier in this instance, but I’ve seen times before where those items would of come in handy
American Radio Relay League. That's the Amateur radio operator's Bible. Regarding keeping those cabins and certain other places a secret. I guess I sort of understand. People put a lot of sweat into keeping them up...them some ingrates come along and wreck them. They when someone is in bad trouble and needs to stay there to survive, they are SOL It's just sad that cameras with telemetry aren't placed on all of them, so that knuckle draggers can be caught and prosecuted for wrecking such places. Anyway, that sure is a great view...but would be even better if you camped there...then arose in the morning and broke loose with a big, pretty smile at sunrise. Thanks for sharing, Sarah Jane...and much love to you and yours. P.S. No...we need to keep wars going...but they need to be fought with paintball guns. And the losing team buys the pizza and beer that evening.
In Denver there used to be many backyard incinerators that looked like that brick construction you found. Some still have them and they make cool planters. I didn’t see any other signs of an old cabin or the like. I very much enjoy your videos for many reasons although I don’t get to see all of them. Thanks Sarah and keep up your amazing work
I love your videos, reminds me of my sister's and brother in law's 2 cabins in Trinity County, they finally sold, but it was amazing, one was an old miners cabin, the other a newer 2 room one and they actually had electric, but no plumbing, we used an outhouse. it was above Canyon Creek, and beautiful, always loved visiting it, end of an era, my brother in law died in 2015, and my sis in 2018.
That's real funny, I'm studying the ARRL Ham Radio Manual to get my Technician license. The book is in my lap and I am taking a break to watch your channel.
The item that you call a “cook pot” at 11:40 into your video is actually a kitchen survival kit, which is part of a larger Boy Scout survival pack. If that kit had everything in it that it should have, you would have had a frying pan, compartmentalized serving tray, sauce pot w/cover, plate, cup, knife, fork, and a spoon all inside of it. That would be important to note in a survival situation in that cabin. 😉
I remember having one of those kits with my short stint in the boy scouts. Always remember the only time I went camping with the scouts had to go to the hospital because of the smog of the 70's was real bad in Big Bear, Calif. That and the altitude did not help. Never really got a chance to cook with the kit. Wonderhussy always bringing back those youthful memories buried deep in our minds.

Don't let those scumbucket trolls bully you into not speaking whatever you want. Tell them it's a free country and to "F" off! We deserve to know where you are visiting just as much as you deserve to post whatever you want. I, for one, live back east and I will probably never have the opportunity to visit any of the sites that you take us to, but I would still like to know where you are visiting.
Hey Wonderhussy, you are something else. Good episode.
What a nice meadow. Thanks for bringing us along
Hey WONDER , wondering where you are and thinking ... Plastic literally has a shelf life ! 😎✌❤🤗🐎
Your story line ideas and your willingness to find and explore such interesting places, are charming. The desert and surrounds are your territory. Thanks for sharing.
Nature's beauty is a gift for all mankind.
Beautiful place ....ohhhh the great solitude! Wow ..super views... good place to stay overnight? Looks ok ! Enjoy the sunrise!
When I was just 20 years old back in the early 1980s I drove a wheat 🌾 harvester/combine way out in the middle of nowhere on the far east end of Santa Maria Valley, California and I got BUZZED by small fighter jets from Vandenburg Airforce Base a couple times!😅
Hi Sarah Jane.
Thank You
for sharing Your video. 👍👍👍
Have you considered getting a drone for local air searches? You might find number 4 not far away. You might also consider buying some camo netting for your SUV if you feel the need not to be so visible. I wonder if those low flying jets are out of China Lake.
Great video.
She owns a small drone but seldom uses it.
@@jazzcatt Thanks
You aren’t allowed to fly drones in National Parks or wilderness areas, so that limits usefulness for WH. That’s one of the reasons why she rarely uses hers.
@@hikerdan She can’t drive in Wilderness area either so it’s not that.
THANKS!
Hi Sarah from Atlantic Canada 🇨🇦. Love following your journeys in the American southwest. Back in my day I poked around various hidden places in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick lol. 😊 Have a Great Day.
Always look under the table cloth 😊
People who tell you not to mention places are stingy. If you ask me? If they don't hold a deed for the place, they just need to keep their trap shut and stop bullying, Wonderhussy.
@Isittrue-cq2td most people are good people. Sounds like you're projecting.
Awesome video Sarah, that's a great spot you picked for your nights stay
Wonderhussy ,you did it again 😅, your beyond awesome!!neet episode!!
GREAT EXPLORE SARAH..SAFE TRAVELS..
Thank you Sarah Wonderhussy
Happy Trails to you.
Fabulous view! The night skies would be so beautiful..keep the name of this area a mystery!!
Woot Woot! Wonderhussy Wednesday!
I've stayed there, it's not haunted. It's a shame to see the cots thrown outside like disgarded trash when they're actually very nice to sleep on.
Very nice.
Cool camp
Where's Wonderhussy?? That gal we all love! That's a beautiful area to explore and camp, and I enjoyed this great video! Thanks!
Great explore...I know the location, sh...sh...
Beautiful place to camp and visualize what happened here back in the day.
Stay safe, rhx Sarah
amazingly clean !
Miss Hussie's Kozy Cabin
In Denver there used to be many backyard incinerators that looked like that brick construction you found. Some still have them and they make cool planters. I didn’t see any other signs of an old cabin or the like. I very much enjoy your videos for many reasons although I don’t get to see all of them. Thanks Sarah and keep up your amazing work
It's a marker. The flagstone lets you know it is not natural and to check it out. The wood on the front is to post a sign or claim information.
The Cabin is listed as a First Come, First Served RENTAL CABIN.
I always enjoy watching. Stay safe.
I bet the old dude is a HAM radio snob too.
Exactly. there's some uptight a-holes on ham radio. Some of them even used to pick on art Bell and his cats. 😢.
A+ finding a moment of peace in this overpopulated world🥰
There's plenty of empty land on planet earth.... But people insist on living on top of each other.... It really doesn't have to be that way..

Watching now. Love your videos. Just ordered a hat! ❤💙🤍
That's real funny, I'm studying the ARRL Ham Radio Manual to get my Technician license. The book is in my lap and I am taking a break to watch your channel.
Super interesting place. Thanks!
@@maxab7e63s5 You ever camp at Barlow Flats up there?
@@maxab7e63s5 Excuse me…meant to say Barton Flats. My autocorrect does weird things! 😉
I call it a mess kit
@@Landotter24 Yep, I’m pretty sure we called them that as well.
Thanks for another fun adventure stay safe looking forward too more 🎉
Avoid too more's... lol
Nice video this is the 2nd new video I have watched from like your work
I have that wallpaper in my drawers.
Good video and ❤😊
Looking very cute!
Looks like an amateur radio enthusiast contributed to the book collection in that cabin.
Those ham radio guys spend $10,000 on radio equipment just to tell other people their radios sound like crap. 😂😂
Neat she showed the amateur radio manual. I got my ham radio license in 1962. Still on the radio daily. de WA4AMG in Florida.
@@goober9983Well some of us just use cheap handy talkies and talk to people while we are hiking in the middle of nowhere.
@@slovokia me and you would get along fine but you know what I'm referring to
✨️ A very special hussy! 💛
Very Cool! 😎
Thanks! Love your work 🥰
👍👍
Thank You!
You're like my Wife, Miss Hussie. Everybody Loves ❤️ you.
What a cool cabin! You are more braver than me exploring and camping out in the middle of nowhere. Be my luck to run into a brutal motorcycle gang or find a dead body. Please be safe and thank you very much for another great video.
