Mark was a top prison officer, good man.
This guy can make some good dramas up- I worked in many jails throughout my derive of 30 years,never assaulted even when there were riots and confrontations, sometimes the staff bring it on themselves

I was in dovegate in 2011 on house block 3, L wing.. deceng jail back then,, full of lifers !! But when you come from a cat B local to dovegate its like being in butlins,, sky TV, showers an phones in cells,, decent food,, Dont know what its like now but in 2011 was pretty decent as jails go!!
That’s the year I started the food as definitely gone to crap now
And now full of so gangster who have never been to the older jails
Thanks for the reply mate,, i remember a few screws on the wing, molly, tanya with short blonde hair, alex benton,, There was a lifer a few doors down from me called cleggy from liverpool, had been in 30 years,, yea i was in L 15, single cell,, I bet it has gone to shit now mate,, like all the prisons,, its the mamba mate, iv watched it change over the years.. all the best mate

Can anyone help, I am looking for the video shaun did with an American guy who was telling the story about the American actor who supposedly committed suicide by jumping off a road bridge after he said he was going to name people in the Holywood show business about abuse. One of the most fascinating stories I've ever listened to, love to watch it again.

I wasn’t bent pal I did legally restrain prisoners and as my duty of care protected prisoners and colleagues from unwanted abuse and violence do not call me bent my friend

Good luck is this your first start in the service. Ask questions and ease yourself in. Be firm but fair and honest with the prisoners

I used to drugs but after twenty six year massive heart attack died paramedic got me back six weeks in cardiac and intensive care got took home wife walk me and five children managed best as they all grow know with kids off there own is it ok to say it's not the way to go recreational drugs but what is my excepetance not everyone has the life iv had each life is off value that's it

I would just like to say that I did a Prison visit once and was totally unimpressed with the Prison Officers I came across. Bad
teeth, dirty fingernails and sexist +++. The worst were in the adjacent Young Offenders section, they looked like Criminals
& I could imagine them beating up youngsters at the drop of a hat. I must be honest and say that in the main Prison there were
a few older PO’s who looked smart, spoke reasonably and looked as if they knew their job, but they were not the norm.
This is what I saw with my own eyes, not through a camera lens.
On;y done 4 weeks in dovegate before being moved to Oakwood. What a screw this guy was. He had a newspaper, I asked for a read and he’s like ‘“what you got for me” 😂😂😂 I swear I ended up trading a mars bar or somet for his newspaper 😂😂. Unheard of trading with screws. What a guy 😎. Most screws r knob heads

why would any one care about prison i went in there dovegate saved a guys life who was dying on c wing and nearly got murdered it was my only and last sentence in my whole life i knew him mark i dont even live in the uk im left now ten years but i can rember him bloke from manchester tattoos one hundred percent but yeah like id care its not worth thinking about theres better things than prison mate
@Shaun Attwood this is nothing about the interview. I've just seen about 5 mins of a interview with Sammy the bull. What a dirty grass he is mate. Witness program after he got out of prison. I know it wasn't your style but for dirty grass like that I'd have had him done by your Mexican boys. Watched plenty of gangster interviews I couldn't watch more than 5 mins of his interview. Even though that would have been on your constant it be worth it. You say it was one of your boys who blew you up. I'm 99.9% sure it's that dirty grass. Just with him going into witness program
