The two best parts for me was watching Mark. So funny, so cute, like a kid in a candy store. I smiled through the whole video. Then watching your son when they picked you up. I was watching with my toddler and the best moment for me was seeing Everett's face through the window of the van, I started to cry happy tears, my little man smiled at me and hugged me and said Mommy he loves his Mommy just as much as I love you! We all need breaks as parents but the best feeling in the world is the arms of children hugging us! Thanks again for sharing, I want to cruise now! Lol

I Live in southeast Alaska. No matter how often it happens, seeing whales is Always a treat. One bit of advice. We do not speed in the non-Anchorage areas of Alaska. AST will ticket you for 5 over the limit. Alaska is laid back and we are not in a hurry to get anywhere so don’t get impatient if you rent a car in port.

Im so glad you shared Glacier Bay. People don’t realize that not all cruise ships go in and it was the highlight of our Alaska cruise! Fortunately my husband knew about it and made sure that we got on a ship that included going into Glacier Bay.

It’s wonderful to see Alaskan residents enjoy & in awe of the beauty as we do from the lower 48! A group of us did the same trip on Carnival. Unfortunately, it was rainy & cold 5 of the 7 days & it was mid July! A truly beautiful trip, no matter what the weather! One must do their homework before this vacation, so you’re prepared.
We love Alaska and try our best to share that. We lucked out on the weather, it has been super chilly and rainy since we got back! Thank you so much for watching, we are grateful
I never like peoples vacation pictures because they are boring and you don’t see what they saw in person and you see them through a camera. But they have their say these pictures are incredible. Makes me want to move to Alaska. Thank you for sharing.

Lauren that was the most beautiful sight at the glacier bay. I found myself so moved by everything that I had tears in my eyes. They were tears of amazement and joy. I also love seeing you and Mark showing a little affection towards one another. That was very nice to see also, understandably why! I would love to take that cruise myself, another bucket list entry! Alaska is so beautiful from the water and so are the glaciers. I am short husband tall and we always get a balcony because I am too short to see over people on the deck. We took our daughter on several cruises and the best was the Disney cruise. Our favorite time as a family snorkeling in the Caribbean.

All of your adventures whether on the boat, your different activities you planned, the suggestions for other tours and activities you could book was like I was tagging along with you.
I appreciate your documenting your trip, your adventures, your meals, the cities you visited because I won't be traveling like you all have done.
During the start of the pandemic, the Stay@Home order, I found This Alaska Life on CZcams. I was and continue to be fascinated of how you manage your lives. I lived in Alaska for 13 months when I was in the Army 35 years ago and I took a military sponsored excursion on a small boat with a group, saw glaciers, otters, mountain goats, eagles and giant halibut fishermen had caught.
I would love to take a cruise and see way more sights!
The best part was when you got back and hugged your sweet faced 👦 little boy, it really made me smile!😊

Fun to watch your experience . I enjoyed our first cruise on Diamond Princess years ago . We needed our map to figure out where every thing is located. Our last Majestic Princess with medallion was a great 3 week cruise . Loved that ship .

Did a Princess cruise quite a few years ago. Ours was in reverse as we flew into Fairbanks and did a land portion of the trip which took us to Denali and then on to Anchorage. Ship left from Seward and ended in Vancouver. Loved all the stops in between. Thank you for sharing your cruise. It brought back many good memories!! It looks like your ships itinerary was the same as ours!!!
