Isometric Box tutorial is exceptional! Fundamental illustration principles here, easy to duplicate.Tips n tricks, I'd never have imagined. I've subscribed! No missing out on anymore ArtistWright tutorials.
Very simple explained. As a beginner I can follow well, but also your voice makes the tutorial very enjoyable. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us.
No I haven't but for a simple box it would just be a matter of changing the one in this video with the gradient tool and adding a couple of highlights. Will note that for future videos Cheers
Awesome pal......Once again, easy to follow and understand and with a great finished product !!! This guy is the oracle, come on and do the thing "SUBSCRIBE"...
Thanks so much for this! I love these types of tutorials! :) 1. I hope you make more Affinity Designer tutorials! 2. I'm not sure how I could get the same number of subdivisions in my grid. Currently, I just have FOUR subdivisions, unlike your EIGHT. Any advice is appreciated. New subscriber!
Hey thanks Ted, I will be making more! I'm not at my computer right now to check but if you followed all the steps I showed it should be just like mine re the grid.
Made it look very easy again and emphasised the less is more approach with all the duplicating. I responded to a previous isometric video the other day about creating a roof for my shed. Could the principle you have used with the circle guide be used to produce that. (two piece roof with a 15deg apex(effectively two rectangles)
Dimensions are shown in the bottom right hand corner and can be changed there also if you didn't make it the size you wanted when you drew out your shape
Excellent solution! 💡
Thank you!

Thanks Paul, I guess it would work, you could try marking out 15 degrees on the circle you will use on your guide
How do you do these in Affinity 2.0
The same way, except the isometric mode is under 'windows'
@@ArtistWright can you do a tutorial on how to cast shadows beneath the Box ?
It's something that I could incorporate in a future video. Thanks for the suggestion
How would you design a wine glass? Thanks
I've never designed one before, maybe that will be a future video.

Can we add dimensions?
Dimensions are shown in the bottom right hand corner and can be changed there also if you didn't make it the size you wanted when you drew out your shape
don't no what version your using but it didn't work for me
I believe I was using 1.9 but it's the same on all the versions. What isn't working?
