Goodwood Revival 2016 Police Cars - Wolseley 6/90

Classic Police Cars from the 2016 Goodwood Revival, featuring 1958 Wolseley 6/90 Series 3 Traffic Car. Also Wolseley 6/110, Jaguar S-Type, ford Zephyr 6, MGA, and Velocette LE motorcycle.
I filmed the 6/90 because I drive a similar machine myself - you can follow that car through recommissioning to driving out on the Open Road in other films on TomsJunkyard Channel. Despite having owned three Wolseley 6/90s, until I saw this car I had only ever seen six examples of this machine - this was the seventh. So I had actually bought half of the 6/90s I'd ever seen...

Hi Tom, I'm a member of the Wolseley Car Club here in Victoria and we have a gentleman with a 6/90 Police vehicle, very similar to the one you featured. He's actually an ex British Police officer who dresses in period uniform and frequently uses his car at our Club events. It's a terrific mascot for our club... I imagine you and he would have plenty to talk about. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Yes Robert Bothwell - he posted some photos of the car in Victoria onto my facebook page - he's also posted a couple of pictures of unrestored 6/90s in the "Chook shed". I remember this epic parade of cop cars very well. Was working there as a steward that year.
I've even ended up by buying one but its the smaller engined 4/44 .
