Kelly is one of those people I can't help defend. She's absolutely unproblematic. And i do not like ,for everything she's done and as long as she's worked, people trying to chump her. Expecting black women to accept crumbs and disrespect the damn time. That guard said something disrespectful to her for sure and she put her in her place. As she should.

I have worked and also been invited several times to the Cannes film festival. I do agree that Kylie is unproblematic, however people need to put things in perspective. The Cannes film festival is in France, people speak French, and sometimes security speaks very basic english. I think it’s more of a lost in translation situation gone wrong… where the security lady was not being rude but came across as if because of a lack of vocabulary. I see it happen very often… even from Americans trying to speak French. Let’s be open minded and try to see both sides.

I would agree but nah, it was the tone that pissed of Kelly. Tone is universal. You know when someone is out of line regardless of the language spoken. Then she put her hands on Kelly Rowland. Kelly Rowland has traveled the world multiple times. I believe she's sophisticated enough to know the difference between lost in translation and jerk.
