- Winter Wonderland Woes! Takeoff from Washington Dulles (IAD) to Las Vegas (LAS) gets a snowy start as we witness the de-icing process up close on a United Airlines 737 MAX 8. (Spoiler alert: it's pretty cool!)
As a Star Alliance Gold member, I explore the Turkish Airlines Lounge (pre-pandemic comparison included) and its delicious breakfast & lunch options. ☕️ I miss the Lufthansa Senator Lounge though.
Unfortunately, our flight faces a delay due to an inbound issue, but the journey to Vegas is smooth sailing from there. I score a comfy empty middle seat on the flight! This video is your chance to experience the ins and outs of flying United IAD-LAS on a 737 MAX 8 with a Star Alliance Gold twist!

I think I saw it today actually, maybe it was something else though. I had a flight arriving there today.
