They should make an Eazy-E movie with a big budget where Jason should play Eazy again and lil eazy to be involved heavily in the production of the movie. Eazy deserves it.

They tried to focus on the kids and light skinned dude and it didn’t work at all
Season 1 had a lot of unrefined parts that I thought they were going to fix, but besides improving the pacing it still had too many problems. Had me giving up after Mitchell got fired. I also expected The Chi to follow Ronnie into prison in Season 2 but that didn't really happen. The Chi could have gotten on the same level as The Oz and The Wire and be world renown classics, but instead it's an afterthought because of its mediocre writing. Every show/movie whose writing room is led by women is a let-down..

a few different scenes in the movie stands out to me but the opening with him at the drug house is my favorite
TBH Jason Mitchell and Lil Eazy favor. As an experienced actor he studies people. I think everyone as a whole wanted to see Lil Eazy play his dad. I don't think he would of fit the role because his acting would of been a biased perspective of his father. Oshea Jr had an immense amount of training and resources to train him to separate the two. He also had his father physically present to give him perspective on what he was going through in that era. Lil Eazy can still make acting his calling in the future
Jason Mitchell did a great job playing Eazy-E, it was how Dre and Cube twisted the storyline and made Eazy look bad that annoyed me the most.
