I'm sure she lipped the higher parts. She never delivers clear upper belts live anymore, voice always squeaks/creaks/scratches. Also, dubbed/lipped, what's the difference? It's altered.

It’s insane how obviously dubbed this is. You can almost hear the dubbed version over the live version. Mariah can sing this song live, she just needs to slow it down and allow her the chance to breathe.
Honestly, the undubbed version sounds better. They dub performances for TV to make sure the sounds come out clearly and well. It isn't necessarily because the live version was terrible, though I can't say that it doesn't happen. Which is why you'll see inconsistencies at times with performances. She's not lipsyncing, she just had to dub over the footage so it sounded good when you watch it on TV. It is a shame when they have to dub over really good live takes though.

I love Mariah, but i can't bear when lambs say "some parts are obviously lipped, but, we have to enjoy the performance!". Mariah is a talented signer. When i come to see her on stage, it's not for her outfits (Lady gaga), her slut gestures (Rihanna), her dancing (Beyoncé), it is for her voice!! Ok, it is her voice, but, i would have appreciate to have a total live performance.

@wmarkegard17 Parts are lipped, but even the live parts on every performance have been dubbed, which is why its not to easy hearing the difference, but you can quite easily by her body language and lips and expressions which parts are live or lipped. the chorus is lipped here along with the ending but verses and whistle are live
