    If you enjoy smaller pro football leagues and you're not watching the Canadian game, you are missing out. The CFL rocks! Highlights of all their games are right here on CZcams.

    OH! Almost forgot.....in regards to 2:06 spot.....PIFL. WOW! There is a name I totally forgot about and haven't heard in a long time. They changed their name to IPFL so they wouldn't be known as PIFFLE. Seriously.

    Hubs are terrible. Only the host city plays at home and the other teams are travel teams. Why even assign them city names?

      If we have to have hub cities I would at least like to see a 'Win and Get a Home Game' scenario. Two homeless teams like the Philadelphia Stars and the Houston Gamblers could play and the winner would get a home game at some college with a 16,000 seat stadium two weeks later.
      That would address a couple of issues for me. Firstly, it would add import to the game itself. I know these guys are all trying to get to the 'next level', but I want the illusion that THIS game is important.
      Secondly, it would give the fans in a city-in-waiting a chance to build allegiance to the team.

      I think the closest team was the Hartford Sea Wolves, that were one and done in 1995 with the AFL. Then there were the New Haven Ninjas in AF2 also one and done in 2002. What is the closest arena that could fit an indoor/arena team?

    i disagree about the hub cities...the xfl lost 60 million? while playing in alll their home stadiums last year..i dk exact the usfl gains or loses, but playing in hubs has helped them. i doubt seriously the xfl would last another 2 to 3 years losing that much every year..hubs are a cost cutting device that should be used untill the league is stable. ...one idea i had hoped would be used,and may be the plan for all i know,,is to have 1 location as training work out facilities for all the teams..then teams play games in their home cities.

    I would have bet a couple bucks that the Idaho Horsemen were going to AFL 2024. Since I like to follow the indoor sport as a whole I've really got addicted to these Facebook insiders. And they're saying NAL's goal is to get to 10 teams. The NAL seems to be slowly Stalinizing. No Georgia teams? Aren't the Peach State Cats in GA? Or was you meaning a team in a bigger scaled league? I'm curious what will happen to the American West conference. Will the AFL 2024 take them in? They are looking to have a 16 to 24 team league. There are all kinds of indoor announcements around the corner. One of them supposedly the official announcement of the remaining CIF teams to AFL 2024.

    • @CtznArcn
      @CtznArcn  Před 8 měsíci

      True. I have seen the Cats play. Their home field is an indoor soccer practice facility. The capacity for fans is extremely limited. There are teams around here, but yes, a 'scaled up' league is what I meant.
      Hopefully the IFL or NAL will find an Atlanta investor.

    • @CtznArcn
      @CtznArcn  Před 8 měsíci +2

      The Arena Football League started in 1987 and the NAL is sort of a competitor. They play without nets and started in 2017.
