Does the acrylic start to flake or crack after wearing it and does the fabric become hard? Sorry about all the questions, I'm using a really old vintage jacket and don't want to have to throw it if the paint peels. Thank you in advance xx
From my experience, if you're careful with it it won't crack

I used golden brand acrylic and it stays on great
If the paint peels just go over it silly
There is a product you can mix with the paint to give it more elasticity.

You also could try acrylic LATEX interior HOUSE PAINT for this.More flexible.

femkeeej I have paint on all my clothes from being a painter and it never comes off in the wash. But I would recommend dry-cleaning or hand washing something like this.

Ten Hun, You say two days to paint this jacket... How many hours? Is it two days because to have to wait for the background to dry?
What are all the name of the products you used on this video? The oil based paintmarkers, spray paints, acrylic paints, and did you cover over the finished product with clear spray paint? And did you use a fabric medium?

No acrylic paint is pretty much plastic. It wont bleed

What paint should i buy to paint my own denim jacket?
Skating Is Life on this I just used golden brand acrylic. It will hold up pretty well but may crack slightly over time... but I just think that will make it cooler :)

I used Uni Posca paint marker to sketch out my design. If you wanted to do the whole piece in paint markers I dont know how well it would hold up to wearing and washing.

What you add to your acrylic paint to make it so soft like that?
ryan maretama didn’t add anything. It’s not very soft. I bought some stuff to make it soft for my next one. Maybe I will make another video when I use it

Alexandra Leclerc on this jacket I used Golden Brand acrylic. It should hold up pretty well, but on my next jacket I may experiment with Fabric Paint Medium that I can mix into my acrylics and see how that changes the final product. Maybe I will make a more traditional "how to" video once I have experimented a bit more with all the different options.

isaac carpenter yeah I have pants with paint on them I have washed a ton of times and they hold up fine. The paint will crack a bit over time but I think that will just add some extra cool flavor to the piece
