That is an awesome display of what that little engine can do!

If you put a hydraulic setup on that it would help the power…you can get a hydraulic pump and adapter to hook directly to the engine like on a log splitter…then a motor to hook to the tractor….

At 1½:1 that means the blade is turning slower.
Because it is geared down so that it will not bog down as easy.
If the other bush hog with the stumpjumper operated at 1:1 then that would be another reason why it was slower to pick up speed because that is a higher gear ratio.
    I love that little tractor!

i said it backwards out of habit i always want to say the big number first when im thinking out loud 1 turn on the gear hooked to the tracot 1 1/2 turn on the gear to the brush hog is what i meant to say so 1 to 1 1/2 to clarify ps thanks for watching

Hi mate. This certainly impressed me. I understand gearing but for a 6.5 there is a lot it’s doing here and handling it really good. Well done mate.

I just subscribed!! I love that little B allis tractor!! You’re right, you can’t beat that deal. I’m surprised it would pull the bush hog.
My daddy has a couple B’s 2 AC g models, a CA too. Of course some wd’s as well. I even have one but I haven’t touched it in years.
    Enjoyed it!

Are you going to repair the original motor and put it back on there or not?

How did you figure the ratio for sheave size on the belt drive?

Ok, thank you. I have a Kubota L210 with a bad engine and no longer supported by them for parts that I was considering doing this to. Plan is to probably use a duramax 18hp and figure from them how to make the original hydraulic pump work. I have found your videos very informative and helpful. Thank you for taking time to create these for people who don’t like to see good stuff go to waste. Looking forward to your next build!!!
