For the past days, I've been motivated to read and study the bible.
I desire God more when I tell myself who God is and little of what he has done for me. For example, God loves you so much that he wants to spend time with you and it's like I'm falling more in love with God.
I’m in this now … I’m really at that point of .. done ,being empty !! So daily , I’m filling it up, with these messages 🙏🏽❤️

We so easily forget this. Getting so busy with life which can consume us, we find ourselves asking “where are you God”. So good to have “refound” you John. Always a very grounding encouragement! I needed to hear this!❤

@@armida5626 Usually they don’t cut like this, and if there are several parts, they write “part 1 of 2” etc. I think it’s an edit mistake they hopefully will fix soon :)

John just said "GOD was going to make Moses hunger for Him" and yet continues to say its all up to us. Ours is to respond to our God. All the glory is God's. It is HIM that will finish the work HE began in us! He is constantly drawing us... that does not finish at salvation. I respectfully disagree with some of this. Yes we must choose to respond and do what what He tells us. IN HIM we can do everything... in ourselves we will struggle. That's how I see this. In Him I live snd move and have my being

I can see God thinking of King David that much because he's a king! But why would God ever think about me? I'm nobody! I can't even get a church to accept me! Nobody thinks about me! Why would God? I think, at best, God tolerates me. He puts up with me. Deals with me when he has to and forgets about me the rest of the time.
That's pretty much what Gideon said too. But God did see him. God cared about hagar who was just the servant of Sarah and Abraham's concubine. He saw her and spoke to her. He cared about Leah who was just the unwanted wife of Jacob. God cared about David when he was just a small shepherd boy, the one the father didn't even think to bring before Samuel. Jesus never showed preference to those in high places but came and spoke to the lowly. The women at the well who'd been a sinner her whole life was the first we know he declared himself as the messiah to. Jesus says those who are least shall be the highest in his kingdom. Why wouldn't God notice or think about you? He made you. He wanted you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. Has he called you to salvation? If he has you were already noticed and called.

God speaks to us but sometimes we can't hear at first. Sometimes I just get on my knees with a humble heart and wait for him. It's a hungry and humble heart that is open to hear. I love you and I hope this helps.

It really upsets me that ive never had fellowship with God ive not felt his presence or hear His voice that I know of but I long for it a lot the thing that confuses me is how do I draw near to God properly do I keep reading the word if so how much for how long ? Also how much should I pray I know balance is needed because we live lives but god should come first but as I said the longing is there for Him I want that close relationship but no idea how to do it practically really.
The times I've felt closest to God is when I was fasting and intentionally giving him myself. It's not about how long or how often we read and do these things, it's why. Keep pursuing. Pray and fast. As often and as long as you are able and pray directly about feeling his presence.

The ones who walk closes with God are the ones who actually have time during the day and don't have a normal 9-5... They have ministries where all they do is God's work day in and day out...
God bless you. I used to think the same thing. But I had to make time for God and stop wasting time doing things for my flesh. I had to get up at 5 am to read my Bible and pray. I listen to sermons and Christian books on my way and from work. And then get more time on the weekends. If you want a closer relationship with God, you really have to make time. You have to ask yourself, how bad do you want it? No judgement. I understand how you feel because I had to ask myself the same thing. I love you.
