This podcast really showed up at the right time. I’ve been dealing with chronic illness for 6 years.. and when you started talking about what scripture are you believing in.. I immediately thought of Psalm 103:2-3. Which I read for the first time today. But I KNEW God was putting it in my heart when I opened two podcasts, this one and another one, and this exact verse was mentioned. God WILL heal me.. and has already healed so much of my disease with no treatment whatsoever. God has already done more than any doctor has done for me in 6 years. God is SO GOOD!!! 🩷

I'm glad you're focusing on this subject. John. So many ministers just preach. Sin, but they won't lift a single finger to help them. And then they just judge them.

I would argue that one cannot be free of sin without the power of God. We were born in sin and we will die in sin as the Bible clearly teaches. But in the meantime, we can conquer sin through his power of Grace.

I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇲❣️♥️❤️

May I resptfully say that God is immutable... He never changes but if you don't approach Scripture with a historical grammatical contextual hermeneutics you will be confused and you will conflate promises given to others..this has brought a lot of confusion into the Church. The Holy Spirit is holy and if one is looking at porn then this is not the Holy Spirit. There are three scales to keep in mind: (1) Healthy fear of God, (2) Desire for a right relationship with God, (3) The flesh. When you don’t have (1), and you’re complacent with (2), then (3) is not far behind.

I needed to hear this today! I find myself falling into trying to do things on my own, not intentionally, but it happens. When I slow down, I catch myself and realize that it's in God's hands and in His timing. I just need to do what God calls me to do and through His grace through faith, it will be done if it's in His will.

30 million walked away from the faith? I'd have to say that they just admitted to themselves that they were never Christians. If they were, they wouldn't walk away. They were just deceiving themselves that they were "good" people. So many think they are "good" because they are Christians. Then they walk away but they were never saved. Then they just think they can now be good on their own and live their life being bascially good. It's so sad. If you really were a Christian, you would know that you're a sinner like everyone else but you're saved because of Christ. But, I know what he means. At least before, society was better off with so many "trying" to be good...going to church, standing up for "good" values...Today, they don't even do that. Actually, it's the opposite. Good is bad, bad is good. Many think they can do anything they want as long as they aren't hurting anyone and/or as long as it's two concenting adults...we are already boiling in that pot.

I have a question on the Jewish perceptive on Chastity. Why do Jews not believe in waiting until marriage ? Don’t the studies show these marriage are the strongest less likely to get divorced? Plus just having one romantic partner to me is just logical. You can’t get any more romantic than that, you won’t be thinking of others or comparing them. Plus the idea of being with multiple people grosses me out wether it’s me, them or both Thats done it. So why isn’t this a thing with Judaism and other religions? It seems like basic phycology. I’ve had missed answers so far that the laws are complicated, it depends on who, what, where, when are relationships can be permissible. But incest and grape is not allowed. I was in a relationship with a Jewish girl and she admitted she has had multiple partners. (2 of them, if she was honest.) So I didn’t want to Continue the relationship. Did I do the right thing? Shouldn’t I forgive her? (I’m in my late twenties and she might be the best I get.) I Believe she doesn’t see sex as a big deal so will continue to do it wether it was with me or now another. I could try and ask her if we talk again, and ask her views in those things. She is very close with her Rabbi so I’m so confused if she did the wrong thing or not. Or what he would think about it.

I have been a Christian for 40 years I thought I was born again but I guess I wasn’t cause I wasn’t living a obedient faithful lifestyle I didn’t want to stop drinking alcohol and smoking weed and sleeping around with men until 16 years ago I married an alcoholic but praise the Lord on father’s days I just said no more i don’t want to continue being disobedient Christians are not to drink alcohol and smoke weed so I finally stopped I have no more desire to drink or smoke I’m done but could not have stopped without Jesus helping me I feel free praise the Lord

I clicked on the video by “accident” and I decided to listen. It was the word I needed this morning to overcome the chokehold of food addiction! Gluttony and lack of self control! I am redeemed! Bought with a price! Jesus has changed my whole life! If anybody asks you just who I am tell them “I AM REDEEMED!”

As a young man I was using tobacco and didn't realize I was addicted. When I decided at my new wife's isisteance, to begin attending church, a Mennonite church,I tried to quit tobacco. But found it a struggler I couldn't win. I became desparate and congfessed my sin at a week long revival meeting,the last nighjt of the meetings. I was broken but still with some pride. I was truly amazed the following week how I had no desire to light up. I didn't understand then I was experiencing the Grace you and Arden were explaining in the Podcast. I was Baptized in the Amish church and the Holy Spirit was a person mentioned now and then, not someone acitive in anyones life. Many years later I came to Romans 5:9,10. I am saved by His life, being justified by His Blood. I was sure that was important but wasn't sure how or why. After I listened to the podcast twice I am sure it is connected to 2 Peter 1. This is life-changing for me.

You are saying they're Christian & saved but they don't believe. You said if you don't believe you're going to hell. Christian's sin because they're sinners and live in a falling world. Paul’s thorn in the flesh had to be a sin . The Bible is about sin and how it came in the world & how it was defeated. Having my own thorns & so bad wanting them removed & God knowing that about me knows my heart.
