@@dwhitmire3005 EB was a one-year rental, he had no one I know fired up. Everyone knew that Rivera was supposed to be fired last year, but new ownership came too late, so it would always be a lame-duck year for Rivera and the people he brought along.

I am really hoping these guys can turn Washington around. I grew up an 80s-90s kid who saw a lot of success in Washington at a young age. I now have a son the age I was when Gibbs first took over. I hope he gets to enjoy future glory as a child like I did. Go Washington!
Same here. When Washington beat Denver to win the Superbowl, I was 7 years old and that was the first game I watched with my dad. Since that day, I've been a fan and I'm not from the area at all. I live in Louisville Kentucky which by the way, there a bunch of us Commanders fans here in this city.
Still hoping HOG can figure out a way to get back to Redskins ;-)
I am cautiously optimistic about moving forward with Quinn. I've been to all of the Redskins' Superbowls and hope to be able to go to at least one more.....

I loved how coach Quin was very prompt with the answers to each question. I see why he did very well during the interview process. Most important thing for me is that he stated that he learned from past mistakes and evolved as a coach. This is very impressive to me because that’s the key to longevity in anything. I support him and pulling for him and the team to be successful. HTTC
Yup his defense fell flat and was thrashed at home in the playoffs. Just like in the super bowl when the falcons blew the biggest lead ever in the super bowl. He learned a lot of lessons.
This Guy has so far got my Vote I'm mean he's already got the job . But just listening to him he doesn't sound like the old say what you want to hear type of coach . I can see it in his body language and it sounds so sincere . I'm 48 grew up in DC all my life all I know is Redskins/ Commanders . I already can tell we're definitely going to be a better team. As a Cowboys fan you guys will love Dan Quinn. Very intelligent and has a passion for the game.
Unlike Ron who folds his arms on the sideline w zero emotion when we are choking…who didn’t know that the browns game last season was a must win game (lose and you’re out of the playoffs) and who didn’t even realize that Sam howell was talented until Heinicke said “please start him week 18 vs cowboys” and he would never put a rookie Emmanuel Forbes as the corner 1 vs other teams’ best WR all game even when it’s clearly not working
Dan Quinn would literally not do any of that. And he won’t lose the locker room.

Really like the energy and enthusiasm of the new leadership but I get the feeling its going to be the same old song and dance with mortgaging the team on a yet another hyped up college quarterback. I hope this leadership is better than that and uses this plethora of draft picks to first build a solid Offensive Line. Having aggressive, confident young brawlers on the line opening holes for your backs and protecting your quarterback helps to establish a sorely needed identity for the team. We also have the picks to shore up our LBs and secondary as well. This would allow Sam Howell and the great talent we have at RB & WR positions to shine by addressing those weak points on the roster.

I remember a very similar situation in my life back in high school. The senior prom was weeks away and I was searching for a date. There was this popular girl I had like many boys, was eying. Id asked her to the prom but informed me that she was going with someone else. I ended up going with a friend of a friend as a favor since all other girls were in the same situation as my first choice. Taken. Fast forward 30 years and now shes a drug addict. Buuuuut, of course there’s always rehab.
