Please don't read this with an aggressive tone cause it'll sound way too pissy, but we're not all girls and we don't follow them just because of looks, basically everyone in kpop is good looking and hundreds of groups debut each year. Sorry, I just wanted to get that stereotype out of the way.

One big reason for that is BigHit & BTS know the nature & tradition of CZcams reaction channels, which innocently started 15 years ago. BigHit knows the importance & value of CZcams since they used this platform to advertise BTS before their debut. It is one way to advertise & propagate your content & merchandise (in this case, BTS) so they see it as an advantage & win-win. Other big companies don't understand that so they instead block and/or strike reactors.

The issue of military service is a big theme in the bts fandom, at 28 is the age limit for Koreans from there they have to go yes or yes at service and Jin, the oldest of the group should have gone to military service by now but last year the law was finally passed that allowed artists (singers) to be exempted from their service until they were 30 years old, so this is probably our last year with jin (he is 29 this year will turn 30) until he's out of service in a year and a half We do not know what will happen, we can not get involved in these matters they want to go and comply as Korean citizens and we respect that.
They are one of the pillars of the Korean economy, they contribute too much to the country Soccer players and classical music singers from korea do not go to military service for their contribution to the country but unfortunately that law does not work in "kpop" singers but we need to respect that at least the armies that we are not Korean
It is a law that cannot be broken thanks to the war between the two Korea's so we just have to wait and see if the 7 go together or each one corresponding to their age, if that happens we would have to wait 5 or 6 years I think until the 7 meet again,,, god I'm going to cry.

My guess is probably all had several discreet but short relationships. They don't have a No Dating clause in their contract at all
If they have a private relationship, it's being kept very private, something I hope all fans would respect. They're human and deserve the right to date if they want to have romantic relationships. I would hope ARMYs as a whole would be happy if it came out that any of the members were dating and they would be supportive of it. They're busy humans. I don't think the video mentioned his age, but Jungkook was the youngest to join BTS. He was fourteen when he signed with BigHit and moved to Seoul to live in the dorm with the other guys.
Also, the way Jimin joined was really not as described in this video. He almost didn't make the group because he signed with BigHit so much later than the others and his training period was so short.
Also, it's typical for kpop groups to have a "visual", which is why they wanted Jin, lol.

You can find their reality show on the app called Vapp, (it’s free) there’s like 120 something episodes, it’s real fun, they do all kind of stuff.
You don’t have to watch it from the beginning, the episodes are individual, if you decide to also react to it we’d love to enjoy it with you, I think you can put it on CZcams also, some people do it, just make sure to cover the Vapp logo and I think you’ll be good.
Also bts do have solo music out. The three rappers have multiple mixtapes out and all the vocalists have put multiple solo songs out as well.
We value those solo projects so much, it really shows their color outside the group and they don’t even do it for money because they put their solo music on SoundCloud for free as a gift for us.
I think it’s really helpful for them to be able to make their own individual music but then come together as bts as well. They truly do it because they like music that much.

He has a very good personality, goofy, witty, smart and caring to his younger brothers also. I suggest that you should also watch/react to “Jin’s influence on bts”. all those other groups before lost members and eventually disbanded because they were limited to the group only. But with BTS, they get to do their own thing WHILST being in the group. RM, Suga and Jhope still get to release their mixtapes; Jin, Jungkook, V and Jimin still get to release their own solo songs and V still gets to act (y'all should watch his drama called "Hwarang" its very good!) Jungkook still gets to put out his short films and video editing projects and on top of that, BTS is musically free to do whatever they want. they compose and write their own songs and get to send out the message that /they/ want :)
and not to hate on other groups (lol) but BTS /actually/ like each other and treat each other as family. and I really think that that contributes to why they are as popular as they are now, and why even after all these years - almost a decade together - here they are, still going strong as ever.

18:00 The reason people become fans is rarely because of their looks, I would say half of the people is because of their message, musicality, lyrics and issues they address, 1/3 is because of their personality and authenticity, the rest being non-stable/new fans
30-40% of Armys are not female, a lot more than you'll think, not to mention, with the exception of 50 yrs and above, 10-20 yrs actually holds the least percentage in the fandom
19:00 They were doing social commentary music even before they debut, they dropped School of Tears (RM, Suga, Jin) on SoundCloud, and their first album is also controversial, telling teens to do what they want, while the second album critiques the society for letting teens to be oppressed
36:57 Their official song count is around 300, but if you include their 4 mixtapes and other songs released for free on SoundCloud, the number could reach up to 400
One of the thing this documentary fail to address, is the hate BTS have received ever since their debut, being mocked for their looks, issues they address, big companies used business/media strategies to down play their talent (since they dominates the whole entertainment industry)
The idol industry in Korea used to be so gross that you don't know if you should feel bad for the idols in big 3 for their underpaid wages, slave contracts, forced plastic surgeries, having no control over their own lives or if you should feel bad for the idols that are not in big 3 for their useless hard work, sleepless nights with only chicken breasts everyday (fun fact chicken breast is one of the cheapest meat in a lot of Asian countries since it's tough and not much people eat them), worrying everyday about their stability and future, or feel bad for the trainees, who have no clue if it'll take them 3, 5, or 10 years to debut, often balancing multiple part time jobs with training everyday
But we also need to take to account that the western treats artists poorly too, slave contracts, underpaid artists are everywhere, I hate when western media describe the Kpop industry as this hell of a place, where do you think they learned that from?? THE WEST
Honestly, the treatment of artists have gotten better, mostly due to the increasing accessibility in information these days, making companies harder to hide their dirty leashes on their artists, but the big 3 still do a lot of disgusting business and agreements to ensure their position in the entertainment industry
That's why Armys are forever grateful for Bang PD, for treating them as real people, helping them to grow, learn, encouraging them to come up with their own ideas and thoughts, giving them the freedom, money, and respect they deserve, from the very beginning

Also on a side note, Backstreet boys never broke up. Their oldest member Kevin took a break for 4 years to focus on his family. The group released an album while he was on hiatus and then all 5 released another album together once he returned. Like BTS, they do pursue their individual aspirations outside the group activities.
