    WHY I thought by putting collars on certain animals only helps them. The people who are tracking them can see and learn their habits everything about them so BIG THANK YOU

    It's amazing that the rest of the Pride would let humans get that close to one of the Prides Females !! Lions strike me as animals that would fight to the death to protect a mate !!

    Hyenas hunt in groups, lions and hyenas are enemies so this is a common battle in nature.

    Obviously there r no croc. N these waters as I can c which plays a huge part n why they r going 2 the waters. Plus look @ the water how clean it looks almost clean enough 2 swim n as humans. Kimtigger143❤😊❤😊!!!

      There are Crocs in the delta, and people have made the mistake off swimming in the channels.

      This film must be pretty old, the vet Rob Jackson lived close to me in Gaborone in the 90s .

      This one in particular first came out in 2003 :) Sometimes it takes multiple years to gather enough footage of certain prides in certain areas, so there aren't many recent documentaries based on that particular area/topic of interest

    All I'm saying is if i ever find myself in a situation where i have to defend myself from a attacking Male Lion... i like my chances. I do a lot of core work and i have a slow heartbeat. I'm quick and strong and my mindset is to survive.

      If only you knew how endangered they are, the collars are necessary in order to track the lions but also protect them from poachers.

      Exactly, they're not a fashion statement; they're for monitoring the lions location and health to ensure the species' survival. Without a collar, lion conservation teams can do much less to help, and gain much less information, which if gained now can help future lions too.
