I was transferred over to Stanford hospital. There I saw a doctor that specialises in the pancreas. My cyst was created by necrosis within the pancreas. For about four months now I’ve been intense pain and feeling like if I had the flu or somebody hit me in the stomach every day. I finally had an MRI and they said I needed surgery. They told me I also had to remove my gallbladder removed because if this happens again I had a 50-50 chance of living. My cyst is in the middle of the pancreas and I will only have a half a pancreas after the surgery that will be working. Thank you for making this video

@@lee-luvs-animalsh4182 in 2020 I was still having some pain they were doing a CT scan to check and he said everything was OK. I was in my surgeons office. This was about four months later in intense pain and he told me that everything looked OK and I told him that scan was taking a week ago. He just looked at me and basically jotted some stuff down and I was let go . I kept on complaining to my G.I. doctor about having intense cramps but I felt like I was being ignored . in 2021 of January I was hospitalized They gave me another type of test where it went down my throat, and they tried to put a splint in between the tail in the body of the pancreas. I was told when I woke up that they were unable to do this and now that they have to take half of my pancreas out the tail plus the spleen. I looked at my doctor and said, so what is actually going on that they need to do this. He told me that they tell the pancreas was twisted. I asked him, so was that the pain that I was feeling for the past 10 months he said he was sorry I had the surgery done and I’m feeling really good today. The symptoms at first were so surreal. It felt like I had a huge stomach ache for two hours. It just got worse. It felt now like if I was going into labor the reason why I know this is because I have three children. So the symptoms are basically terrible cramping no appetite, weight loss, and vomiting for me.

Last week, due to my cyst's location (tail end of pancreas near the spleen), I had a Live CT Guided Needle biopsy of my cyst. I am awaiting lab results. My cyst was first detected in September 2020 thru an abdominal MRI related to kidney issues. My cyst is not growing and remains at 5.2 x 2.1cm. I have no pain/discomfort or bowel symptoms and am hopeful for a positive biopsy result in mere days. I am 59 y.o. and my weight has been steady at about 210lbs. However, I do have Stage 4 Kidney Disease with a stable GFR of 25. I will update my status once I know lab results.

@@harekrishna201 Everything is fine. Subsequent MRI shows the cyst has shrunk on its own by about 25%. No need to do anything as its believed to simply be a benign growth but, it will be monitored thru another MRI later this year.l

@@effychase62 okay okay thanks a lot...actually my mom also got a cyst in her pancrease and the doctor just told that it's normal for a woman to get...but we recently did the ca19.9 it showed 36.2 and normal level is less than equal to 37....even the cyst size was 1.8×1.2cm

@@harekrishna201 That's good. Seems that benign oddities within our bodies are relatively normal. Still, always good to have them checked out. Good luck!

My mom was diagnosed with pseudocyst Then doing surgeon to make bypass from the cyst into the intestine. But after 3 months, it was actually turned into pancreatic cancer! But unfortunately we didn't know it, so when the symptoms came, it was already at stage 4. And only need 2 months to make her pass away
And my question is, why does this pseudocyst changed into pancreatic cancer? Bcs the doctor who's in charge never known this before too that he had worked as digestive and oncology doctor for 15 years.
I'm living in Indonesia, so our technology and knowledge aren't that great than USA, UK, Aussie, and other developed countries.
Please make research on it! Thank you 😊😊
