Great player and better person
Rip was and always will be my favorite pistons, he signed a jersey for me after a playoff game when I was 12… I’m 29 and it’s hanging in my man cave to this day lol. Players today mention rip in terms of off ball movement and mid range jumpers. He’s a legend.

The "SELL THE TEAM" folks are upset because Detroit got the $3 BILLION and they didn't.
@Wake-up1776 - The Pacers have never won a TITLE in 48 years. If the NBA DID start a Policy of forcing teams to sell for the reasons you gave, there'd be a bunch of teams ahead of the Pistons.
@J.Ragland-hz1er they've been relevant many times in the last 15 years, every team has. In the 2021 draft every team in the bottom 7 are now in the playoffs, except the Pistons, they're still right where they were. As long as every franchise has winning seasons they dont have any reason to step in. With thr collective bargaining agreement and Gores being the 5th richest owner I guarantee there are owners complaining about this situation
