Optimising additional seats could make Ibrox a 75,000 capacity stadium, which would be a game-changer in terms of finances, with 75,000 season ticket holders. A 50%+ increase in matchday revenue. Spreading the cost over 10 years and divided by 75,000 fans with say a 5% or 6% rise in season ticket prices would be a small price to pay.
Technically speaking, it may be possible to lower the level of the pitch and tank the perimeter to avoid water table issues, and to do it without moving out of Ibrox, by carrying on the construction below the pitch which could be suspended on a deck, which can then be lowered down in stages, as the construction progresses.

He asks the right questions and doesn’t seem to cow tow to the club in return for favours as many in the past have done. Keep it up Stevie 👍🏻 (maybe lay off the on the pitch chat 😜)

We should expand our stadium, You can't dig down because the pitch will get smaller, And you need to stay above the water table of rising tides of the River Clyde for obvious reasons, I remember when the Broomloan, Govan and Copland stand being built and it was announced back then that the three stands were built to take another tier on top if required, so the structure is already in place, the simple square design of the stands would make it a quicker build process. I'm pretty sure Rangers could dig out the old archives. BUILD IT AND WE WILL COME!!!

I saw we are being linked with the CF Benie Traore. I would happily take him for upfront and bring in Shankland. We really also need wide threats for right and left. A midfielder in and CB. Do that and we have a chance.
On a side note I think Bisgrove is brilliant. A guy who knows how to make money and his appointment of Zeb as Head of youths is another good move.

Would the screens have to be relocated to ensure we still adhere to the Stadium standards to keep our stadium rating up? On the point of being close to replacing Craig Mullholland, that was an important one for me, more important than the Sporting Director one. The Safe Standing is definitely worth it. There are so many people that stand anyway.. So whats the difference.

Ibrox has been far to small now for long long time . the Leeds United game back in the 90s Campbell olgavie back then said there was a demand of over 150,00 tickets for that game . should be a minimum 65 to 70 thousand . we had the biggest club stadium in Britain and beyond at one time for a reason. the club needs to address this and do it properly and not half hearted . the demand is there years after years .

Yet the increased capacity gives us more money ti oump into the team each year and raises the ceilimg on FFP and leagues financial sustainability criteria.
In short, we can then buy better players and offer higher wages.
If we do it later rather than sooner then we fall further behind the unwashed in finances. Especially as they are planning on building a sma stadium at the training ground for the womens and youth teams.
We just have a tiny stand.
I just need £101M spare, 1m for me and the rest I can give to the club lol.

People seem to be getting very scared at this £25-£30m number for filling in the corners as if it’s not realistic. We would only be putting up around £10m of that number then taking out a loan on the rest. Not the best time to take a loan out in this current economic climate but very doable when we likely look to do this in a couple of years time 👍

The idea of the screens was ridiculous in the first place rather than just filling it in at the time. Yet another blunder by David Murray. The capacity after the first refurbishment was supposed to be 52,000 yet u never ever see that even prior to the having some rows empty around the tunnel. Its always 49,000 & something or 50,123 or something like that for old firm or European matches ever since. As i used to look up offical attendances going back years n years. Not sure of that's because they just dont sell that many tickets or deliberately keep the attendance down or its not true that the capacity is 52,000. It came out Murrays own mouth it was 52. So it it does go up to say 58,000 is it actually going to be that...

We just know as soon as Ibrox is upgraded then Septic tank will be upgraded higher. So the financial imbalance will remain unless Ibrox is 70k min.
