As a middle schooler in the early 2000s, I was obsessed with hoods on everything, an impractical amount of pockets, and zip off pieces. Didn't get to dress like that, but I had fun drawing designs I thought were cool.
I looovvve hooded henleys and babydoll tops- my parents only took me to Abercrombie once a year when I was young but now that’s I’m older I try to keep my eye out for those 2010s pieces at the thrift 🤍 here for the emo revival too. Also, yes let’s bring back flattering fits lol
omg i have that spiderweb cat emily the strange top 16:49 and some tripps that were in this video. making me feel seen lol, ive been a collector of vintage- late 2000s hot topic and old “goth” brands for like a few years at this point lol its so fun when you find them being resold at a reasonable price
also i so agree with the quality thing- im a 100% cotton snob unless its mesh or velvet tbh
Me too, man, me too. My style was more eclectic than yours, still is, but there's a lot about the fashion from about 1998 to 2006 that I really miss.
Funny story, I just revamped a black denim jacket with a sweatshirt hood and hand painted Y2K-era alien motifs (that glow in the dark, of course!). It makes me incredibly happy and I can't wait til the cooler weather.
ugh i also loveeee old abercrombie/aeropostale/hollister/American Apparel/etc and honestly it's super easy to find and not all of it is $$$. i have a teeny tiny collection and it's super versatile to style like u said!!

I like the sassy tees too. So sick of the happy, positive saying on shirts. "Good vibes only." "Bee 🐝 kind" "Happines=kindness" I find those soooo boring. I like the snark and sass on shirts. I miss them so much.

I was too young to participate in a lot of these trends, but I thought they were so frickin cool at the time. It's a shame they're so hard to find, but I kind of like the challenge of finding/making them myself.
I had every print that vans made in their sneaker flats. They were so cute and comfortable. It was called something like the KDV Flat. I wish they’d bring those back. I did see that Vans does make a sneaker flat right now, but it is a leather Mary Jane style sneaker flat.
Back in 2008 I had an awesome purple and grey reversible zip up hoodie, that had pockets on both sides (so I was able to listen to my iPod secretly during class), it also had thumb holes. One side was purple and grey striped, and the other side was grey with purple skulls. It was the ultimate hoodie in my opinion. I miss it so much, and wish they’d make hoodies like that again.
theyve come out with a mary jane style recently thats super cute! i wish theyd come in patterns, but for now i think theyre only in solid colors
i would love to see 2010s kawaii aspects like domo and so so happy again the art styles were so cute and knee high converse. also more on the girly aspect but wedges especially the ones that look like ballet flats but have the wedge are so cute

I love denim jackets! growing up I would always steal my mother's and wear it on picture day with my little T-shirt dress. I had been missing it for years because I got a little bit edgier and then randomly in a Kohl's of all places I found this slightly faded black lined denim jacket and it is my favorite thing ever! The inside is a bright seafoam color and because of that jacket it has become one of my favorite colors. I wish more people would get them because they last forever and you can wear them with anything. the nostalgia is so real.
I saw tripp style pants like you talked about at the store the other day (another brand) and they were sooo expensive but such a vibe! It's definitely already starting to come back

I love this. I was such a a little "punk" alt dresser as a youth and so many of these things brought back memories. Even being bullied by the preppy chicks that shopped at aero, Hollister and Abercrombie.
One of my favorite outfits was these amazing hot pink baggy bomber pants (I think from limited too😂) one of the graphic/statement tees, pant chains and these black and white striped wrist warmers... OMG. Plus the smudged AF eyeliner always. Memories
