They’re a great builder. This guy just unfortunately got a lemon constructed by complete bobos. My home has had zero issues and we luv it. Its a 1mm+ 3,577 home in NorCal. I hope this guy gets these issues fixed. Woof! They hired idiots 😳
Wow these issues are unacceptable for a new construction home!! I am so sorry you and your family had to experience this. My husband and I went with another builder and thankfully we have not had any issues since we moved in on 11/15/23. Unfortunately our neighbors had their pipes burst which caused mold to build in their new home. They had to move out after only being there three months.
Our ceiling is crumbling in on itself, the pipe burst in the master bedroom tub. The wall paint cracks and chips. And inside the drywall is too moist so it started rusting our air vents. Lovely right? 🗿
I built next to KHOV for a different builder in Texas. KHOV price point 250k- 450k are awesome homes, backed by multiple management pinch lists. They build a great home in the Houston division
We just move into our newly built townhouse in Phoeniex, AZ--- not much good luck we have either--- found out that there is a trash bin 2 feet away, right next to the only side with widows!!! so we figured: we can never open that windows all year round, unless we would like to smell the massive trash smell; and we can never have a barbecue in our backyard unless we wouldn't mind to dine with flies/bug/trash smell; needless to say the value for resale will be much more decreased than we paid Reply
I bought a Khov in CA, they’re crap. Bad paint job, dent on garage door, fence gate didn’t close, all three bathroom countertops were scratched, living room ceiling had bad tape job which poked through and some areas looked boxy around pot lights, trim work around refrigerator cabinet didn’t connect (wasn’t cut at an angle, looked like a preschool did it) pre-existing water damage under hall bathroom sinks, porch concrete slanted causing water to run towards house instead of away from house, damaged doors, damaged slider frame, nails sticking out underneath Sheetrock in garage, each single wall had uneven wall texture (literally saw orange peel then big swirls in other areas), cracked bottom kitchen cabinet, all doors that led outside were not tight when closed…. Most things have been fixed except master shower pan, cement grout on exterior stone, porch concrete….. (didn’t catch all this garbage since they rushed me during walkthrough… which was during the summer when home was sunny bright with flat white paint which hid a-lot of imperfections…wasn’t until I moved in that I noticed something new every-single-day. STAY AWAY FROM KHOV!!!! (I was told by the site supervisor “what are you going to do when warranty runs out?” As if it was my fault messed up things kept coming up, I should have replied with “There’s a difference between home warranty and maintenance, no one expects to do major maintenance on a brand new home” FROM A BUYER IN CALIFORNIA, STAY AWAY FROM KHOV!!!
Where in the world that any builder would build a trash bin 2 feet right next to your only side that has window? Maybe my life expierence is very limited---but let me ask K Hovnanian owner: would you build a community trash bin right next to the window of your own house?
All production builders under 1.5M are the same. Toll brothers is a little bit better but not by much. If you want a good and detailed build you would have to go custom build and above 1.5M

I just visited there model homes a few days ago. I noticed exactly the same kinds of issues you described in your video.

What city I just bought a home with them in Florida?
I close in May. Construction hasn’t started yet. Will update on positive or negative.

These are the same damn problems I’m seeing in my home. Kitchen is absolutely insane very poorly done.
I'm experiencing these same issues. I'm actually speaking with an attorney about these problems.
Your light switches and ceiling lights you should of caught during the pre drywall meeting
