THAT....RIGHT THERE?....THAT is one HARD WORKING GIRL. When I took in all the AMAZING acting and choreography needed for the Tina Turner musical to be what it WAS? One descrip I could give it was ACTION PACKED. Now imagine having to do an action-packed tribute to the life story of an icon EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for almost a week straight! I remember exclaiming at least twice; "They do this EVERY NIGHT," and watch people's jaws drop as they realize the same conclusion. She is a STRONG talent.
That doggone Covey had a life didnt she!? Been through hell & back. Had me biting my nails all the way through the season. Black Cake is absolutely amazing and beautifully done. Cant wait for season 2!

IM HOOKED ON BLACK CAKE! MY HUSBAND AND I GASPED AT THE LAST EPISODE LIKE WHAT THAT'S IT! IT WAS A CLIFFFFFFF HANGER!
I have read the book and looked forward to this adaptation. Hulu really did a good job with this one. They didn't do as well on another beloved book.
Finale did NOT disappoint!
