  • Nicole is an Assistant Professor of Architecture + Interiors in the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design at Drexel University and a principal in the research practice lutz/koltick. She founded the Design Futures Lab at Drexel University, where she leads a diverse team in design-led research practices. Nicole pursues a trans-disciplinary collaborative design research agenda that seeks to synthesize and explore a variety of ideas and methodologies across fields in the service of novel design narratives and outcomes. In addition to her collaborative design work and teaching, she writes extensively on the ecology, philosophy and complexity of design. Nicole holds a Master's of Architecture from UCLA and a BFA in Art from Carnegie Mellon University.
