What I feed my "Easy Keepers", NO Grain!

I have three horses that gain weight looking at food. Here is what I feed to make sure their nutritional needs are met, and they have full bellies to prevent boredom and ulcers!

Can you talk about the round bale cover? Is that a special tarp?

Hi Karen, I just have a canvas tarp on top. It's an old one from when my dad had to cover grain in the trucks. It is waterproof. It's very heavy, and has bungees clamped in the grommets. I just leave it on top, and if I know it's going to storm, I pull the sides down and pull the bungees around and secure in different grommets around the bottom of the tarp at the bottom of the bale, and I have it sitting on a pallet.
