    Ya the Kyle Turris deke took me a long time to figure out and it is more precise than most of the other dekes. For a lefty I would describe the right stick movement as going from 6:30 to 6:00. You don't have to spam down multiple times but hey whatever works :)

    A tip for the spin o Rama: if you hold L2 for a bit longer you get more control over your spin, all you have to do is swing the left stick around the direction you want to spin (clockwise or counter clockwise) after letting go of L2. Holding it for that half second longer leaves you back skating for a half second, which confuses the defender and makes it easier to spin the desired direction, because if you just tap the spin it sometimes will spin you the wrong way. Also doing the spin in this slower way allows you to keep control of the puck better, and you can manipulate the right stick as you are spinning for a better deke

    Im really glad you didn’t say specific movements with the left stick for the dekes as it is camera relative. This video did a great job at showcasing the dekes in their basic forms and I was glad to see it. I will say I think you missed two that i guess could be considered variations but are different IMO.
    1. The Kucherov deke variation. Stride deke to the backhand and immediately press down on the right stick to release control of the puck (as opposed to flicking to the forehand) Puck stays straight and you fly to the right away from the checkers. You can do this on the Forehand but not nearly as effective.
    2. The off the skate between the legs variation. Hold your stick all the way back behind you on FH and perform the skate deke and he will go off his skate and between the legs. Can cause some tripping calls.
    As a side note the Kyle Turris is just a variation of the skate deke with the key setup being the stick is held to the players forehand side and you are in a glide state (no left stick movement).
    The “same side” dekes are done by holding deke button and pushing both thumbsticks to either the players FH or BH AFTER being held outward on their respective sides.
    Hope this helped better understand these very unwritten dekes in the game that you were spamming to perform. If only their was a better tutorial for these moves ingame for people to understand this better…

      Great points!
      That other kucherov move didn't make it to the list, as I don't think it is "supposed to be" a deke. Similar to for example the glitch michigan that was in the game (not sure if they patched it already). Or let's say the behind the back self sauce which I like to do. Those aren't meant to be in the game so I excluded all of them (I could be wrong, maybe the other kucherov thing is supposed to be in the game).
      But other than that great points. The off the skate deke you mentioned wasn't in because I couldn't do it lol. Always do that one by accident tho 😄😄
      Edit: I'm on my personal account apparently

    Renember that the fake shoot is different on TC, you must hold LB before pushing down on the right stick, otherwise you get the reverse hit animation. Nice deke video 👍

      The simple ones are probably your best bet. I love the stride deke but the one touch will usually do the trick too. Just depends on the situation

  • @itzklutchh

    The forehand cut in. You hold the puck at 10:00 (L) or 2:00 (R) and then straight up to 12:00 for both.
    Backhand cut in is the opposite.

    Is there any way you could show the hand movements with the controller for the deke as you do it ? Specifically just the threw the legs deke for me when you say to pull the puck as far back as you can I don't get that part I can't get him to pull the puck that far back with either stick he'll only keep the puck to his side as far as I can go or maybe just type it on here if that's easier thanks bro your English is perfect it's just hard to follow without a visual just that one deke for me not the whole lot of them thanks

    • @sopulii04
      @sopulii04  Před 4 měsíci

      Yeah the between the legs one is kinda weird - apparently it can also be done kinda like you would do a toe drag but using the left bumper (L1) while doing it. But basically let's say with a righty you wanna first go to 3 o'clock on the right stick and then roll it down to around 5 o'clock. The last movement of the right stick can be like a little bit to the left and up as you press L1. It's weird because it's one of those dekes that I swear I can do it 100% of the time without thinking but once I start thinking how to do it, it goes wrong lmao. I think Eki has made tutorials on the dekes in NHL 23 so maybe those help better. Or someone elses video in general might explain it better

    Thanks for the video okay so my question is probably a simple deke I don't even know if it is a deke but when you're on a breakaway and go backhand forehand backhand and then score you know the goal that everybody uses in eliminator like every single time it's extremely frustrating but I can't do it every time I just use the right stick left to right left to right he either shoots it or passes it or does something stupid... to Puck handle back and forth so fast like that do I have to hold a button down at the same time or do I have to use the other stick to turn my body or whats the secret

    • @sopulii04
      @sopulii04  Před 4 měsíci

      Nope, it's just the right stick for that. You just have to get used to the movement, then you'll start doing it consistently. When you learn it, you can also mimic the movement of the right stick with your left stick - that way you get that little bit extra sideways movement, but this is only after you learn to do it properly.

    • @sopulii04
      @sopulii04  Před 4 dny

      Oh that's easy. Just hack into the servers and locate your opponent by their IP address. Then show up at their door, knock on it, and when his mom opens the door, you wanna ask her to let you in to see your good online friend who's name you've already looked up beforehand also. Then just walk in his room and wack him in the shins. Then rush back home and EZ WINS on the faceoff 👍

    • @dooderman8361
      @dooderman8361 Před 3 měsíci +3

      Exactly, that’s why I hate how everyone is complaining about total control, it’s not like it’s any easier to know when to deke/time a deke, it’s just less convoluted to press, you still need timing and game sense to deke in this game
