  • For this episode of TechCrunch Makers we visited John Biggs favorite place in Vegas, The Pinball Hall of Fame. This non-profit museum is a 10,000 square feet warehouse that houses over 240 playable pinball machines. Founder Tim Arnold is one of the last of a dying breed. A sort of keeper of pinball machines through the ages. His passion is collecting and restoring them in place where you can touch and play all machines and not just look at them. John Biggs gets to the root of why he still cares when so many have moved on.

I've been playing the silver ball almost 50 years and this guy just blew me away. Building a game from scratch, having "the whole set" of Gottlieb machines, etc. Wowser.

    Any relation to Jason Biggs?
Anyway, love that shirt that Tim is wearing. lol
I need to get to this fine establishment to play those Circus and TKO machines. I wonder if he would consider giving myself and a friend a tour?
Great job Mr. Arnold, this place looks amazing.

What a wise man. Learn the fine arts the things that can't be shipped off to china or made by machine. This is what I hope America can learn is we could be the designers and prototype makers and let the other countries be the mass assemblers. Wake up America and grow into the new game of the 21st century. Let us once again be world leaders in the best of the best!
