Crash Damage Assessment, Dash Code Issues, First Start | 2014 Aprilia RSV4

I bought a wrecked 2014 Aprilia RSV4!! The previous owner low-sided the bike. It is missing a lot of parts and was not running due to the missing dash.
I bought a dash with some other parts on eBay ... unfortunately the seller didn't know the code. So I had to buy another dash from a member of the AF1 Forum.
I got the bike running ... but it is displaying URGENT SERVICE on the dash. So I need to go through the diagnostic process to figure out why.

Love your humor and optimism at the beginning of the video. V4's are always tempting even if they are italian electronic spaghetti nightmares and unfortunately Italian electronics usually aren't cheap. Look forward to the following videos

LOL! thank you!! It took WAY longer than I thought to get this bike done ... lots of stuff on back order and lots of little problems. I bought the bike in March 2022 and it took till mid summer 2022 to wrap it up! Thanks again!

Apparently there is a way to retrieve the code from the dash, its a service i can render

i thought you could recover the code if you have 2 factory keys.

I went through a lot of articles and forums to try and use the dash. If you have a method to do it let me know! I still have the dash and would like to sell it if possible!

@@lukesmotorshopAssuming you have 2 genuine factory keys and not clone keys. in the SETTINGS Menu choose CODE RECOVERY. it should ask to insert Key II, just shut it off and insert second key, you have 20 seconds to do so. when its back on it should then ask to enter a new code. My 2012 Shiver dash is the same so it may possibly work. it's the same process for some motoguzzi as well. Hope it works for you!

point is, the system assumes if you have 2 genuine factory keys, then you really own it.

Get on the AF1 forum and go through the Buy/Sell area for a used dash (either a virgin dash or with a known code)
