Another civilized city in the U.K. Bath has a lot of historic sites. The area at 30:06 looks like a popular spot to hang out. I got a good look at the place, not sure if i'd ever go there, but i have an idea of what to expect of Bath.
Hello LL, yes it's one of our favourite places in the UK and not so far from Glastonbury, which is chalk and cheese but another of our fave towns. Glad you enjoyed the virtual meander. We always appreciate your support and connection and look forward to hearing from you.

This is perfect since I'm reading 'Northanger Abbey' right now.
Ah Brianna! Do you put in on in the background whilst you're reading 'Northanger Abbey'?
@@LivingWalks I could totally. 💗
Excellent footage. Well done sir!
Well I'm glad you enjoyed it Battenberg, thanks for popping along to tell us so. All the best to you.
@Living Walks Of course! I visit a lot. Quality place to film, you did it justice👏
That's good of you to say so @@battenberg7111 I wish we lived a little closer to visit as often. All the best to you chum!
Stunning city 🌆
It really is Faris, hope you enjoyed walking it with us.
Hanging around to experience this from minute one to end. Maybe you can find time to travel with me too! Appreciate it!
Loved your latest rain walk too. Eerie and atmospheric just as we like it!
This is incredibly helpful and stress-relieving. Looks as if all I want is in this central area of 1 hour walking. I may stay at The Griffon Inn/Pub. Is it anywhere near this wonderful area? thanks!
Morning to you Joseph, as you say there's so much to see in this in this central area and you won't be very far away if you stay there. Hope you have a great time.
@@LivingWalks Hello! So I would not be far from Beth central if I stay in the Griffon Inn/Pub? It looks so atmospheric. But, I would hope to walk from there to Bath central. What do you think?
shame there wasn't time for Royal Vicky Park, Great Pultney Street, Holbourne museum, Sydney Gardens, Orange Grove etc.. have they taken down the transmitter above King Edward's School?
Ah we certainly plan to do another when we can Michael, there's just to much to show isn't there. Thanks for dropping by.
Ooh and not sure about the transmitter, as we don't live locally.
Another of your easy rambling walks, here around the elegant Georgian buildings and ancient Roman monuments. I have been delighted to see that the wearing of masks no longer appears mandatory - except on public transports etc I expect :)
Here in New Zealand, the government is maintaining its level of fear ( of Omicron ) - a frightened people are an easily manipulated people, masks are mandatory in most public areas and I can see no end in sight :(
Many thanks for this very fine walk - well done :)
Well a very good morning to you Mr Torleon, a pleasure to hear from you, we've been wondering how you're doing? Very pleased you enjoyed the elegance of the Georgian buildings and Roman monuments.
It's easy to take it for granted when history is all around you.
Sorry to hear that in New Zealand it can feel like there is no end in sight at the moment.
We are all ready to live in more positive times, let's hope it's not so far away now.
All the best to you.
@@LivingWalks Thank you for your kind response - it`s so nice to be remembered :) I still return to your various tours of Oxford from time to time - top shelf, of course !!!
Thanks once again for your kind words :)
I visited Bath in 2012 for day trip. It is beautiful. Are u from Bath?
We quite agree Jax, we're not from Bath but from the South East of the UK!
Which time of year is this?
60-70AD, temple site built at Roman Baths., about 3.30 pm-ish.
Hi Kjartan, this was late summer. Hope you enjoyed it?
@@LivingWalks I enjoyed it immensely. A few years ago I had a business meeting in Bristol and made a week out of it to do some tourist things. One of the participants recommended Bath. And it is a sight to see. Great to have a virtual revisit. Thanks a lot.
Well how nice to hear that @@KjartanAndersen, it's certainly unique place isn't it. Hope this helped to bring back a good memory or two? All the best to you.
Im confused . Com are you from the uk or madeira
Ha ha Kevin, understandable confusion. We are from the UK, bur spend as much time as we can in Madeira!
@@LivingWalks same here hopefully going in October again the only football team i follow is maritimo had pleasure of meetin the fanatics and the president also chatted with rubina leal last time we went we walked round the presidents house garden
Interesting to hear you walked round the presidents house garden, wasn't sure if that was still possible. Have a great time in October, shame we're not coinciding!
We walked past it looked in the guard said for 1 euro each you can go round it was the best value couple of euros of the holiday
Oh thanks for the tip Kevin, I'll def' pop by when I'm there. Perhaps you might enjoy the other Madeira footage on the channel to get you in the mood? All the best to you.
