But it's kind of hard when you're not around any koreans to correct you or you to consistently speak korean I'm always around people who speak english so its difficult but I'm willing to pursue it

@@christinalee3047 There is an app for language learners called HelloTalk; we can speak with native speakers of our target language(s), that can be very useful to practice
@@christinalee3047 Hyunwoo also made a video a few years back, telling a way to practice even if you don't have anyone to practice with is to write down in a journal about anything, but daily. And I like this method :) (I'm also using the app Tandem, basically giving you penpals)

I’m fascinated by your decision to put sentence order and particles at the beginning of the learning process. I think it’s a great idea and I’m curious to see how this works out.
When I first watched Korean dramas, it was the -니까, 는데, and 고요 conjugations I noticed the most.... and actually most stuff is in 반말, not 존댓말. Obviously, we learn some polite/formal stuff like stuff like 안녕하세요, 감사합니다 but we also learn just 미안해, 고마워, 죽을래!?

This would have been the most perfect video for me like 3 months ago when I was desperately trying to understand Korea sentences but no one explained it well. I thank God everyday for ttmik 😂
From watching Kdramas and shows combined with linguistics background, I picked up some words and structures and found Korean very interesting. Now the hardest part is to start remembering the letters as some look so much alike. Great video👍
The sentence order is easy for me to understand because my native language(hindi) has the same sentence order

I got frustrated that I couldn't recognize a certain language pattern while watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo (I didn't know that there were formal and non-formal speech patterns at the time), so I started learning, and now I'm planning to go to Korea and study intensively haha. That moment when you realize a kdrama literally changed your life
The examples are great, the art and the way that people from ttmik explains every lesson makes the lesson not sleepy, great job teaching 선생님들!

I really appreciate the way your videos are made recently. I have been following TTMIK since 2009. Though I really started a truly systematic study a couple of years ago TTMIK is all I ever had. I really "get it" now with the way you make your videos and the catchy songs that go along with the breakdown of Korean sentence structure. I am thoroughly benefitting from the way TTMIK teaches these days. Keep up the good work because it certainly is working.

Had a little "a-ha" moment when you explained that the object marking particle shows what the object of the following verb will be. 드디어! I've been confused with topic vs. object for a while. 감사힙니다!

@@annabelle466 I'll give it a shot but I’m not very good at explaining (and I might be wrong!) 😝
If we see an object marking particle (을/를) after a noun, that means the following verb is about that noun, and not about other nouns in the sentence. Basically *this* action is about *this* thing. Hopefully that makes sense (and is correct).
I still need an ‘a-ha’ moment about topic vs subject though! I’m sure it’s somewhere in TTMIK :)
