I wasn't ready for him to throw the pen 😂
제가 펜을 현우쌤이 던지 준비 안 했어요. ㅋㅋㅋ (Just wanted to practice writing your comment in Korean!)
Now all you need to do is write a short story/conversation/essay/whatever that includes ALL the grammar points and yet something you can memorize. (I agree that this is very easy to memorize sentence for us language learners. Thank you very much for writing it)
I love this format, it's such a fun and interesting way to learn or revise a bunch of grammar points all in context! Brilliant :)
One of the very best Korean lessons I have ever seen. 10/10. 👨🎓👨🎓
The sentence itself is good advice too! It's the same advice I give to my classmates about how I've kept up with my Korean over 10 years of on-and-off study!
Start with webtoons because the images make it easier to parse when you don't quite understand the words. You start to naturally pick up on some vocab based on the context of the visuals, without having to check the dictionary every single time (though you'll still spend a lot of time checking a dictionary haha). Then after a year or two, once you stop having to look at the dictionary as much, start trying novels. Maybe even the novel version of one of those webtoons you were reading! A lot of webtoons are based on webnovels these days, so you can easily transition from comic to novel.
Sitting in my car in a parking lot and just wanted to watch a quick grammar video bc i hadn't mich time this week to practice. 10 minutes later i have not just learned 3 new grammar points. I also learned omitted forms of clauses i didn't know until now.
Great video. 감사합니다...please do more of these. ❤🙏
Me after hearing a sentence with 23 grammar points: Oh, I understood 90% the first time I heard it! I'm improving!
Me after spending 3 days at my in-laws', listening to conversations: Oh, I understood 0.5%. I'm freaking hopeless.
I've been following this channel long enough to know how good you guys are at teaching Korean and I'm still impressed by how you can keep on improving the ways to help us understand the language. Kudos!!
I started teaching myself Korean about 3 weeks ago and have found most all of your videos very useful. Your last video with 12 grammars points has been a bible for me over the past 2 weeks, just as I was mastering it you've released this. For this I am grateful, very useful.
This is brilliant. I struggle with confidence in my ability with grammar points, but this showed how much I really know! I think I hit 17, and I am currently close to taking the TOPIK I exam. 공부 잘할게요. 매우 감사합니다!!
this video is AMAZING, really, i needed this soo much, and now i know this 23 korean grammar points.. and i'm happy, thank you
This is such a helpful and useful video!! But also you are GLOWING! Drop the skincare routine in the next video hehe ☺☺
Thanks for your effort to make new video on grammar again!
This tutorial was incredibly helpful. Thanks for making complex concepts easy to grasp!
truly helpful and useful method to learn!! thank you!!
I would love to study with this kind of videos again and again! Introducing and analysing grammar in context makes language learning so much more convenient and effective ❤
I love this series! I learn so much from it and it’s a practical way to see the fruits of what I learned.
오늘도 정말 좋은 자료 감사합니다! Thanks for another great video!!
This was so good. I was able to follow along and refresh info I already knew 👍🏾
Thank you so much for this video. It is so helpful. 🌸
You're a great teacher! The video with 12 grammar points was great help to me when it was uploaded, and I'm sure this one will help me to revise. I've been a bit lazy with Korean learning lately, but I'm glad that I could understand and mentally translate the sentence when I read it along with you 🤓
This is the kind of study I like to do.
I often do it with verses of songs even tho I know it’s not the most natural way to say things, I JUST WANT TO LEARN THE GRAMMAR!! And I love it. Thank u so muuuuuch, more videos like this please❤
Ttmik is such a treasure 🥰❤ cool idea!
This is amazing!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you! Lovely video once again
감사합니다! 한국어를 잘 쓰고 싶어서 이 좋은 비디오 봤어요! This was really helpful!
You’re the best! Such a challenge but I enjoy the language so much!

Wow, it helped me a lot. Thank you ❤
TTMIK team makin it more intresting for me to learn korean even faster and effectively 😊
와우! I don’t know if you can become more brilliant than this! Such a genius lesson!
this is really good. thanks!
Thank you for this!!!
This is freaking awesome!! I feel like I learned so much on such a concentrated/condensed level!!! I don't know if brand new Korean language learners would understand this, but I'm on book 5, and this is such a great way to review a ton of stuff I've learned and puts a fine point on all of the info gathered thus far.
Well done on this video and getting that sentence together. Very clever and worth its weight in gold!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏💪😎
우와 티티믹이 진짜 내스타일이다 영상 넘 좋아❤ 잘 봤어요 ❤
I like it, very efficient.
Superb! What a sentence 😮
이 영상을 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다!!
i love this way of learning! please make this into a series with different combinations of easy and hard grammar points 🥹
oh wow that was super interesting, thank you
So useful!
awesome! i tried translating it first, and got about 80% or the general idea of it right, and so now i know the grammar points i need to better understand. for me its "-수록" and the conjugations of multiple points in "지겨울 수 있기 때문에", cause that got a bit confusing
this definitely made me feel pretty confident in my knowledge thus far :)
excellent lesson! i almost didn't click because i thought i'd seen it-- turns out you made another one! I'm really glad you did, this helped me to understand a lot! plus all the bonus grammar you didn't even count for clickbait! haha, lovely learning with ttmik as always
Very impressive 선생님!!!
Thank you 쌤!
Thank you, TTMIK!
This video is amazing! I'm technically only on TTMIK Level 2 so many of these grammar points were new, but it didn't feel difficult at all and I learned a bunch of new stuff!!! Now I feel very motivated to learn more Korean grammar :) Hyunwoo 선생님 is always so good at explaining and funny as well hahahaha😅
Great teacher ✨ but you say for all levels and I beg to differ. As a beginner I'm catching my tail to be able to follow or understand everything explained at that speed 😅
Thank you!
Thank you👍🧡
너무 감사해요 ❤
More of like these please
I regularly come bacl to this video to see how my korean compares
역시 현우 선생님 진짜 천재구먼 ❤🎉😂😊
그 영상 고맙습니다,,
아주 쓸데있는 것 같습니다 😊
Wow, awesome sentence! It's like a table of contents of grammar points left to study, and a progress indicator all wrapped in one. Thanks for all the effort that went into this! When I was a lower beginner I would have needed the pen thrown at me too. ㅋ ㅋ
Thank you❤
Brilliant, for real! If I could study in only this way I would 😆
I paused my Korean learning with TTMIK 2 months ago and not going back even a single day. But I try my best to read one episode webtoon in Korean everyday and I am surprised that I can understand the sentence 🥳 I guess I have to go back to study more seriously because I found this sentence is interesting and helpful (and I really prove the sentence too 😂). Thank you for always making great contents!
I am going to watch this video many many times, until I finally get it!
Thanks again
The Hyunwoo persona in sunglasses representing all of us Korean learners is really killing me. 🤣
Great video as usual! 감사합니다!!
감사합니다.👍
감사합니다
감사합니다!
Would you be down to do a similar lesson but with difficult vocab and grammar for 고급 learners? Thank you~
Do you have a book recommendation? I’d like something the contains verb and sentence endings. A list would be great to have too. I do the lessons, but having a handy cheat card would be nice.
감사합니다 ❤
lmao this is video is so much fun XDDD and extremely useful also!
This sentence is a godsend, it has increased my level so fast
전 긴 문장을 해독하는 걸 정말 좋아해요! 😅 처음 읽었을 때는 문장에 문법 포인트가 23개 있는 걸 알아차리지 못했어요. 이 전에 티티믹덕분에 이미 문법을 20개 공부했어요. 티티믹이 이런 영상을 더 만들었으면 좋겠어요. 감사합니다. ❤
The idea of having an array of grammar points in just one sentences is great! Genius!
And I need a genius idea to help me translate from Korean to English, Spanish or French.
Being the word order different I frequently get confused in the word order when trying to understand the meaning of some long sentences.
Help please!
Thank you so so so much❤️❤️❤️🫶🫶🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is so much fun! You should try teaching korean with webtoons too! 😆
Posting here because it’s a cnt video you may be checking more often. My beginner’s issue is that when I practice writing hangul I want to hear the proper pronunciation at the same time, letter by letter or syllable by syllable. If I write 물 and repeat the sound of it ten times, I guarantee it will revert to an English accent. If I stop each time to listen I will be there forever. Maybe there is a loop function somewhere that I can input what I’m writing? Still investigating which method to focus on.
This is the typical teacher- student approach: why not view it from the student perspective? Hence, if we are doing this in English, you begin with the English sentence and then show how it is expressed in Korean… All to say, that in the present format all that we were left with was a list of grammar points… that said, I think the idea has potential but really only is an ad for your course and to self promote your own accomplishment in English, which is impressive but isn’t enough to teach Korean effectively:)
For anyone who like me wanted the translation first, here it is: "The more you study Korean, the better, but it can get boring if you study the same thing every day, so if you feel like you need something different, it's a good idea to watch a movie, read a novel, or read a webtoon, for example."
일타 강사 동영상 강의 보는 줄 알았어요 ㄷㄷ 강의력 엄청나십니당
Question 🙋 Can I use all these grammar points in plain writing form? I just know 같아요 will turn into 같다 (is that right?)
I didn't see the ~고 grammar point 😊 but this sentence is very helpful 👍
Nice .......
In America, this would be called a run-on sentence 😂 but I love it!
Hey I have a question
Do Korean people use 10 key or standard more on phone? ( keyboard)
Thank You!
i miss you teacher ^ ^
챗gpt가 영어선생님은 될 수 있어도 한국어 선생님은 되지 못할것 같습니다. 당신은 인공지능이 가져올 많은 직업의 종말로부터 안전합니다.
I can understand the sentence the moment he read it first 😳
The heck 😅 i didnt know my korean this level 🤣🤣🤣
Probably was not mentionned yet, but in the grammar points on the website for t he third section, you missed writing about the "something" part.
ok sounds like a deal👍.... can you do this sentences with different 사투리?
A totally unrelated topic but I have a tough time understanding what is the acceptable shape of the letters when writing Korean.
Not sure how to learn that.
I need to study more but the. I would need to neglect my college classes 😅
Is this "guess" comparable to a conditional sentence?
What is the meaning of "herong-herong". I don't know if I spell it right but I heard that phrase during my visit to Korea.😅
Here is the sentence for those who want to copy and paste it somewhere:
한국어 공부는 많이 할수록 좋기는 하겠지만 매일 똑같은 공부만 하면 지겨울 수 있기 때문에, 만약 좀 다른 게 필요하다 싶을 때에는 예를 들어 영화를 보거나 소설이나 웹툰 같은 걸 보는 것도 좋은 것 같아요.
it feels like I've lost a best friend from when u make the essential lessons premium. I can't even buy the premium lessons cause i don't have those payment methods 😭
I like it so much. Please, give me it's English sentence. ❤
Sir, that's a whole paragraph 😭
Thank you nonetheless 😭👍
😮와, 빨리 지나갔네요! 저는 그것을 배우려고 노력할 것이다. 😊
