The sentence itself is good advice too! It's the same advice I give to my classmates about how I've kept up with my Korean over 10 years of on-and-off study!
Start with webtoons because the images make it easier to parse when you don't quite understand the words. You start to naturally pick up on some vocab based on the context of the visuals, without having to check the dictionary every single time (though you'll still spend a lot of time checking a dictionary haha). Then after a year or two, once you stop having to look at the dictionary as much, start trying novels. Maybe even the novel version of one of those webtoons you were reading! A lot of webtoons are based on webnovels these days, so you can easily transition from comic to novel.

Posting here because it’s a cnt video you may be checking more often. My beginner’s issue is that when I practice writing hangul I want to hear the proper pronunciation at the same time, letter by letter or syllable by syllable. If I write 물 and repeat the sound of it ten times, I guarantee it will revert to an English accent. If I stop each time to listen I will be there forever. Maybe there is a loop function somewhere that I can input what I’m writing? Still investigating which method to focus on.

This is the typical teacher- student approach: why not view it from the student perspective? Hence, if we are doing this in English, you begin with the English sentence and then show how it is expressed in Korean… All to say, that in the present format all that we were left with was a list of grammar points… that said, I think the idea has potential but really only is an ad for your course and to self promote your own accomplishment in English, which is impressive but isn’t enough to teach Korean effectively:)

For anyone who like me wanted the translation first, here it is: "The more you study Korean, the better, but it can get boring if you study the same thing every day, so if you feel like you need something different, it's a good idea to watch a movie, read a novel, or read a webtoon, for example."
