@@BobbyDrives thank you, it looks like the problems are only if you don’t use 5.6.7 series shifters. Other models fit but have different resistors that give problems when changing. Thanks again

Hey Zia, the airbag came with the new steering wheel. You won’t need to use the older airbag as it won’t fit. 👍🏼

Nice video,but I'm not that technical . However, was thinking of doing this for my 7 series 2010. Something you would do of I brought it down to you?
Of course! I can certainly help. Really easy to do. If you find a good steering wheel and are in the area, pop down and I’ll fit it 👍🏼
Do the paddle shifts work ok, i want to do the upgrade but been reading about problems with shifters.
Hey Gary, no problems at all with mine. The shifters and all the buttons work perfectly! It is literally a swap, plug and play fitting.

Hey, yes totally necessary, otherwise you have the risk of the airbag blowing in your face when you pull it out. My advice, be safe and disconnect 👍🏼
