This was the most Bleach episode to ever Bleach episode! Intense action, Hado and Bankai, epic captain entrance, returns and reveals, surprises upon surprises.

One moment that I wish was kept in is when Ichigo is sulking over Uryu, Chad straight up lifts Ichigo over his head and chucks him through a building just to snap him out of it. It’s so funny and uncalled for even though he can take it.
This episode does a really good job in portraying the uncomfortable relationship with Giselle and Bambietta. It was definitely uncomfortable reading that after knowing about Giselle. That Zombie Hitsugaya drip different though.
So in the manga, the reason why Yumichika knew Giselle was biologically male was because Giselle, “reeked of semen.” Can you imagine if they kept that translation?
yeah, the reveal would come off as like confirmed instead of a random joke that many people misinterpret lol, just stick to the original it was there for a reason

That is a fan translation and misinformation that you see posted all over the place. In the original Japanese (and official translation) he only says: "You smell like a man".
Yeah I wish they kept it too it makes more sense with how fucked up Giselle is
[Tidbits & Clarifications]
- Comedic scenes revolving around Orihime's attire were removed. It expresses that Urahara made the outfit and Orihime wore it to impress Ichigo, but naturally Ichigo wasn't properly aware.
- The scene with Yumichika covering his nose is purposely mistranslated for Western audiences. In the Manga and in the Japanese episode Yumichika is actually saying to Giselle:
" You're a man, aren't you. You may think you have concealed it but frankly, you stink of semen"
(This was likely changed for Western audiences because of political issues)
- Many forget that the Shiba family was or rather are by blood one of the 5 Major Noble Families. The fact that they have a canon capable of reaching the Soul Palace says a lot and brings up some interesting questions.
- We've learned some rules for Giselle's Zombification.
To Zombify a Quincy they must be fully dead, whereas shinigami simply needs to come into contact with her blood but clearly, there is more to it otherwise Yhwah would have taken Giselle with her to turn someone like Aizen or Yamamotot into a Zombie.
- Many people miss it but Giselle and her awful treatment towards Bambi is supposed to mimic how Mayuri was first introduced. He used Nemu as a tool and was wickedly violent and sadistic.
By using Giselle/Bambietta as a parallel it shows us in part how Mayuri has grown since then.
(Though Mayuri still isn't that good of a person but certainly better)
- Some people Claim that Mayuri having the Zombies is plot armor but as the episode showed with the flashback he did in fact raid Szyelapporo's Lab after he defeated him (The Pink-Haired Scientist Espada) in the Hueo Mundo arc and we know that Szyel was collecting the defeated Arrancar. This just shows that Kubo had this concept planned way in advance.
- Another thing about Giselle's zombification is that it would seem that the Zombies aren't as strong as they once were. Bambi was clearly a much greater threat when she was alive and in control, and though the revived Arrancar have likely gotten stronger it wouldn't be enough to defeat above Captain Class threats so easily.
Bleach haters really like to say retcon or plot armor or plot hole for everything huh?

Think about the ramifications of Urahara's play here--Aizen started a war to take the Hogyoku and nearly had to blow up a city to make the key to get into the palace. Urahara had the Hogyoku for a century, and just casually talks about breaking into the palace without the royal key.
FYI. Check out the manga chapter for this episode (chapter 589), because there is a funny cut scene with Yoruichi, Ichigo and Orihime.
They cut the BEST SCENE AGAIN lmao I had a feeling but it's one of those I was hoping for 😭😭🤣 🎉 Dam now we wont get Ichigos reaction to the best fit in Bleach 😂

In the manga Yoruichi reintroduced herself by sticking her hand in between Orihime's boobs and telling Ichigo to marry her after Chad had asked his opinion on her new outfit.
Disappointed that they cut that out. Maybe it's in the next episode... MAYBE...

the one arrancar u forgot the name is luppi, the one who briefly replace grimmjow as number 6 and he was killed by grimmjow later.

I can understand the overload of information, it's the same with most of us manga readers as well when we got to this part onwards. It's at this point in the story where there's a lot of things thrown to the viewers at once: first there's the whole thing with Yhwach and his real goal and how Squad Zero will respond to this, not to mention the Uryu situation. Then the little subplot with the issue of the distortion caused by the Quincies. Then we go to the fights where we find out what happened to Bambi, and then Mayuri comes in with his own army of zombies as well which are surprisingly characters we knew back then. And lastly we finally get to find out what happened to Toshiro.
The fandom od Charlotte Chuhlhourne is definitly happy to see him back in anime, and he even got a new attack.
Forget the rukia peach scene or filler beach bikini episode, I Hope Charlotte releases so we get to see that miniskirt in 4k

Yes, it's the same voice actor for Frieza, and Mayuri fought Szayelaporro in the Arrancar arc, he was the arrancar scientist that was Fighting Renji and Ishida, he ultimately got killed by Mayuri with a super soldier type of drug that his body was too weak to synthesize, and Mayuri stabbed him in the heart.
I can't believe he forgot the scientist fight , the most brutal death he waited centuries begging for death

A small scene they cut out: Chad pokes Ichigo about what he thinks of Orihimes outfit, to which both start profusely blushing and Ichigo clearly embarrassed says it’s a little revealing, and Orihime starts rambling about how Urahara said she should wear because Kurosaki-San would really like it (obviously she said yes to wearing it without thinking about it). Then in the midst of the rambling Yoruichi cuts in (in a wild way might I add) and starts berating Ichigo for not telling her how beautiful she is and how he should just take her right then and there. Overall it was pretty comedic which is why they cut it but I would’ve like to see it considering how badly the original anime fucked Orihime in the first half (everything prior to the Arrancar Saga)
Maybe they want to focus more about serious thing than a fan service

On top of this arc not needing unnecessary lightening up (which is why I'm positive about like maybe 85-90% of removed scenes), I don't see how fucking = lightening up, but ok.
Seeing yumichika call out gissele for being a man was amazing, been waiting for that scene to happen, in the manga yumichika told gissele that she reeks of semen lmfao xD, i am sad we didnt get the comedy scene with ichigo asking why orihime is dresssed like that.

@muchoyurdem5260 i got that. Charlotte died after Aizen left for soul society, which he left when the other captains entered Heuco Mundo. Charlotte died in the same area that Stark and Barrigon did. Charlotte is the only one not to die in Hueco mundo. There was, in theory, the other members of Barrigons fraccion that Mayuri could have chosen then. Luppi and the 2 privaron died before Szayel died. Charlotte died after Szayel did and couldn't be in his vault. Plus, didn't the top half of Luppi get disintegrated? That is probably a staw I am grasping at
@chrislessard975 That's true but Mayuri didnt have infinitely time to search for every single body in the wotl as we've seen. And Kubo most probably made that decision on purpose because the Top Espadas have a Spirit Class above 3th class which makes it possible for him to use those in the Hell arc because they are send there after death.
So their is a reason why he chose those Arrancars and also probably because the Top Espadas can't be used by Mayuri because of their Spirit class, it's forbidden
