As a girl I was bullied by other girls, I have been treated badly by some men in my life, people in public can be horrible. It's normal behavior on this planet. To think everyone is kind and nice is delusional and naive. If they don't like you for some reason they will not like you for another reason. The resting state of this world is cruel, mean, nasty, rude. It's full of hard edges and sharp points. Make sure you have your armor on before you walk out the door.

Racism is made worse through a hyperfixation on race. DEI, diversity hires, college quotas, minority only buildings… these things aren’t a step in the right direction. Equity destroys equality and the confidence one has in their work. “Did I get the job because I’m skilled or because of my race?” That’s not something anyone should have to wonder.
Asians are the most impacted these days on a professional level and whites are thrown in to this as being “inherently” racist. To be white is to have privilege. We are building up a culture where the norm is to resent white people. These behaviors only turn everyone off to having a conversation and then when people get upset, it’s “just another racist” getting loud.
When I was growing up, we didn’t give a damn about who looked like what. As we’ve moved out of the late 90’s/early 2000’s and into the 2010’s, things started getting worse again. Don’t let politics exacerbate race relations. MAGA or leftist, we have more in common than we do in contrast.
Republicans aren’t racists. Democrats aren’t here to take over the country. While there may be truth of this within the parties themselves, it is important to separate the voter from their representatives. If we want to go down that road, everyone is guilty. Washington is a mess and it’s because so many buy into the crap these people keep selling. Stop.

All who know her mention that she is a kind person and extremely liberal. However, in my opinion she lacks confidence. In the USA there is no discrimination otherwise CEOs of top corporations would not be Indians nor the brilliant Kamala Harris the Vice-President! She looks like a typical Punjabi of the Khatri caste (a merchant one) thus I am surprised she is discriminated in the USA. I think lack of solid education may have something to do with her views. I have traveled all over the USA in fact in many areas of the mid-west they welcomed me as a fellow Aryan! Ask Zubin Mehta if he ever faced discrimination, surely never!

There's discrimination by common people. Not by companies. That's why there are successful Indians but no happy Indians.

She comes from the most racist country on earth. That still categorizes people in castes and ruins their lives. It also has over 8 million slaves at present. How she can comment and not be disgusted with herself and her country is anyone’s guess.
