Another fix I've found over the years...even with no pressure at all..is remove the caps and the plungers and turn the water on and flush the cylinders out sometimes debris gets inside...in this case was an obvious broken plunger but may help others ...also when I winterize my pumps I take the plungers out of each pump .....and blow air thru the line for long term winterization......ALSO you can take a two 5 gal buckets and draw from and cycle thru the gun back to the bucket with the winter rated windshield washer fluid NOT antifreeze as gums up sometimes... Hope this helps someone. Love the channel GLC Enterprises Northern Va
Outstanding video, Joe! Hate to see things go down on the job, but i learned a few things from your video. Much appreciated...and the ending is brilliant...ill be sure to tune in on the next video to see what happens. Also, im picking up more business on the midcoast; been in and around Damariscotta village quite a bit this spring. Well done! 😎💪
I think I really needed this video. Yesterday and today I’m washing with the hose in one hand and I feel slight pulses in the hose. As if there’s low water, but that’s not the case. But I don’t notice anything with the water flow out the gun… Same PW you have. I’ll need to buy those springs tomorrow for backup. I always learn something from you
Hey Joe had simmilar issues when the pump was running too hot, not bypassing properly. Wrecked valves and seals running hot. Check that before replacing fresh parts. The best thing I've done this season was all my unloaders are all quick connect to change them out quickly to test them too ect. Take care man!
Sucks the valve went bad on you. Luckily you have the backup machine. I had to replace check valves in my old pump last year. One thing I’d recommend is a little blue loctite. My Bolts kept backing out until I used some blue and let it setup over night.
No joke I am not kidding you had to change my check values today not very fun lol they put so much lock tight on them and what I have learned is always the first lower one by the water inlet is normally the issue.
Joe do you think running 1.8 injector may have played a part? (More back pressure)? I’m only asking because I have the same pump and I too run the 1.8 when I come across especially dirty surfaces.
Might be a stupid question, but in a circumstance like this with the roof, do you have the customer sign something stating their wishes and they accept all responsibility and no liability will be held against you for being more aggressive ?
I dunno. After getting my Comet P40. I don’t think I’ll downstream ever again. I found it made my 8gpm pump scream and chatter. Now I just save it as back up, and use it for surface cleaning only.
@@Johnnyreengo I dunno.. just never really liked it. Down streaming to 12v.. 12v to Comet 11.5GPM of hot sauce licks a building clean pretty quick. ☄️ At the end of the day, do what works with your budget and set up
I phoned a friend today, asking him technical questions, and all he kept saying was " Vienna Sausages, Vienna Sausages ". No help at all!
Glad we could help! Great video as always Joe!
Deeply appreciated
Sending Positive vibes your way Joe!

Much appreciated. Great advice
Great content here! Thanks Joe. 🙏💪✌️
Appreciate it!
That 8pm and M5 twist is a beautiful thing, i run a 4gpm and the M5 twist makes me sad, i don’t even use it. Way to get back up and going Joe!
You are the best joe and smart
✌🏼😂✌🏼
I would definitely suggest changing all the springs out to the new ones and keep the old ones just as a back up just in case

I have had this same issue this year on my 5.5 Glad mike helped you get it figured out!!

Outstanding work. Enjoyed. Harbor Freight breaker bar comes in handy for me.
One pull baby ! Haha love it

Great idea
Did the pump oil stop cycling when the machine was on? I think I have a similar issue
Yeah, those brass caps are so darn tight! It's definitely a knuckle buster.
Thanks Bud!
That ending Joe! Geez lol I guess I'll stay tuned to find out 😂
Sorry. Added a short. Long day

Left us on a cliff hanger! 😂
Sorry about that
I’m betting it’s your unloader. Those K7’s need replaced a couple times a year. But I love my K7’s. Smooth!
Pulsar is the best
Do you know Keith ?
No sir
I'm on the same k7 over 2 years.
I can testify to that

It’s a check valve happened to me before. You can get it rebuilt.
Buy 2 sets of check valves and a reseal kit so you have it on the truck when you need them.👍
You called "The Fresh Rinse"
Did you check the filter before the 8GPM? If its too clogged it will also start to act starved for water.
Might be a stupid question, but in a circumstance like this with the roof, do you have the customer sign something stating their wishes and they accept all responsibility and no liability will be held against you for being more aggressive ?
Mr. Vienna sausage himself I’m guessing😂

Joe, that maple is massive. What do you think the age of it is?
At least 100
How many hours do you have on that 8 gallon per minute machine and did you get it from the wash mart?
Close to 600. Manatee
How can that happened, debris from well water maybe?
5.5 works just fine gets the job done.
Yes. It gets the job done. But honestly the 8 runs circles around the 5.5
Was using the x6 not an option for the cleanings?
Yes. It could have gotten the House Washing done
The screen on your banjo filter needs cleaned happens on my 8gpm washer also hope it helps.
I have 2 - 5.5's on my trailer. And my work is starting to outrun me. I think I'm being forced into upgrading to 8's. We do a lot of flatwork.
Siamese, ez pz
Do it. The 8 rocks
Siamese them together. 11gpm you won’t be able to go back. Game changer.
I could Siamese them together but there are two of us.
@@palmtree8604 have one guy dooor knock and pass out flyers
You should make your 5gpm a 8gpm with lower pressure, its a GX 390 right?
Genius
Are you going to start marketing the “Joe No Valve”
😂
Quick vid 23 mins
I had problems with mine today and I am hanging on every word. Then it's over?
Fixed
Dude. What’s your house water bill each month? You fill the tank with your own water every day??
Water is like 1 cent per gallon
you preferring the 1.8 or 2.1 these days?
Yes. Much faster
@@powerfulimprovements tried the 1.8 today on my 8gpm and machine went into bypass 🤣

Sounds like your injector was back feeding into your pump

Well dang I commented before I watched the entire video. Nevertheless the time will come when your K7 needs replaced.
Take 1 out of the 5.5 pump and see if it fits.
It does not unfortunately
