  • I have already released a video showing the design and construction of my Dust Boot for the X-Carve CNC. In this pair of videos I show the design process and toolpath creation using Vectric's VCarve Pro. These videos are aimed at the novice VCarve Pro user.

As always Peter, you take complex things and make them SOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to follow.
What a blessing. And thank you so much.

+pat dee Hi Pat, You are really very kind - thank you. It was difficult to liven it up but I really had to focus on each step and not miss anything. When I first started doing CNC work it was a real mystery and so I want to help others who might be in the same position as me a year ago. Peter

Thank you for this lesson! That was great for me as I will be getting my CNC up and running I hope very shortly. I now look forward to part 2. Your teaching was good speed and well explained! Andrew

Peter that's beautiful video. :) Of course everybody do their drawings in different ways, me as a user of Aspire, the menus are the same or almost, I think I used the align option maybe twice, and I remember going blind with the node editing when I was doing Christmas decorations. Your step by step is great and simple, you do have a knack for teaching.

would it be possible to tell us where you purchased bristles from as I found some last year for my cnc but they were only 14mm deep. thanks

Hi Jim, I went to a local brush factory but it would be easier to buy a long bristled brush from a DIY store and cut what you need. Peter
